"I got these and was surprised at how easy they were to put together! The price is great, and like the person below me said, you save plastic by re-using the 1 frame that comes with it! This is the way to go, The already assembled are a waste of $$! Get these!!!"

"I get the 4packs and what surprised me was there was only one plastic frame so every time you change the carbon and meshthingy you have to reuse the frame. At first I was a little iffy about it, but then I thought of how this saved plastic and was more eco-friendly than others. The carbon does stain the plastic, but your fish really dont care about it. Really easy to replace, just dump all the used stuff, put on a new mesh filter, then pour the carbon, wrinse and use!!"

"I have a Whisper Filter from about 11 years ago that I have had in storage for about 2 years, since my tank broke. I just got the filter back out, cleaned it up and went to purchase a new filter Cartridge. I was happy to see that Whisper has decided to make their cartridges in Small/Medium/Large. It was easy for me to choose the right size cartridge."

"it is so easy to put together all you have to do is open the little grey bag and pour it into the mesh and put it under running water and bam all you have to do next is put it in the filter. Best of all it is good for the ECONOMY!"

"This product works really well. Its easy to put together and uhhhhhh yah! It works with my 10 gal tank that has too much fish in it because my fish had babies. Every month or so i just put in a new one"

"One thing I like about this product is the price. It much cheaper than the pre-assembly one and this one is easy to assembly. It also work as well as the pre-assemble one, it keep the water clear and the fish healthy as well keeping the odor out."

For my first aquarium....

"The Whisper filtration system came with my 50 gallon aquarium. I thought it was going to be somewhat difficult to maintain but it deffinatley is not. Whether your just rinsing off/out the cartridges or replacing them it takes all of 2 minutes. The only problem I had was keeping the frame closed after opening it to clean them."

"Using these filters for my 30 gal. tank has been the easiest replacement cartridge I ever used. Keeping spare frames built for quick changes is the way to go! My son has noticed that the filter needed changed when adding water and has told me about it after he swapped them. Pull them out without stopping the filter. Great!"
