Great With My Filters

I got this product a while back and they work really well. I don't have a Magnum HOT filter, but I use them in my Penguin 350 and Whisper 5-15.

Penguin 350: I used refillable media cartridges in my P350 and put this foam in them [along with gravel] for a little extra biological filtration. I got them so when I pull the cartridges out to clean them, the debris dosn't get back into the tank. And it has already caught some.

Whisper 5-15: While I was cleaning the BIO-foam, my puppy found it when I turned my back and he tore it up. So I used a little foam to mimic the BIO-foam and grow biological matter to bio-filter the water.

Overall: This foam sleeve is a great product for both mechanical and biological filtration and can help you modify other filters.
