"I could hardly believe no one has reviewed this product. This is a "must have" for aquarium owners, no matter what size the aquarium. A friend of mine is a member of the National Aquarium Societies and she passed along a tip she learned through them. You can use the Python weekly to vacuum the floor of your established aquarium, taking out 10% of the water with the sludge; and then fill it back up straight from the tap. I've done it ever since with my 55 gallon tank and it has made cleaning it so much easier; the water quality is considerably better, fish are happier and healthier. I do squirt some "Start Right" in after I do it but don't think it really needs it. If you haven't considered buying one of these and you have a fish tank please do, it is worth every penny."

"I got this for my Turtles' tank. It makes clean up so much easier and faster. I used to have to fill a bucket to empty/fill but now i just attach the python to the sink. Its also a great buy if you have any sort of gravel in your tank. You can easily vacuum up the debris (though if especially dirty like with my turtles - you may have to refill and empty again to get all the gravel debris removed)"

"I normally don't flip out over much but OMG!! This Python No Spill Clean & Fill is IT! I own a 55g tank. I have a bad back & tendonitis in each arm. Carrying the bucket was a pain. Then I saw another pet store employee using this. I didn't like that store or it's employees so I came to a local PetCo & purchased it. I am sooo glad I saw that other store use it. I cringed over the price but got it on sale for approx $40. Still pricey but it's fine especially if you have physical pains like me. I'm definitely going to get another fish tank since cleaning is so easy now. Thanks Python!"

"I have been using this product for a little over a year on my 75 gallon tank. Bought it on Petco.com when a promotion was running on free shipping for orders over $50. The product does exactly what it says it does. I don't know how much hassle, time and energy this product has saved me over the conventional water change using a siphon and a bucket (my back couldn't take it anymore). I absolutely love it - I bought another one for my family to use on their 46 gallon bow front tank. This product is a must have for any medium to large tank. I love the python brand and product - wouldn't use any other brand out there."

Sucks Up Everything But the Fish Waste

"I read so many positive reviews about this product that I had to get it. Bad decision. I have a fine sand substrate and it sucked up the sand, tons of water, but left the fish poo, etc.
Also, if your fish are curious like mine, you better make sure you concoct some mesh over the end of the tube or you're liable to easily suck one of your fish into it.
I would say if you have a 100+ gallon tank, this would be good. For my 56 gallon with fine sand substrate it is the wrong fit. I am bringing it back tomorrow.
Now, when I look at my tank, I see large holes where the sand was sucked up and all the fish poo that I thought it was getting is filling them in. Oh well."

"OMG this thing is INCREDIBLE!! I can't believe how wonderful this item is! We are newbies at aquariums. We have a 20 gal tank and it literally took me 7 minutes to vacuum the tank and refill the 20% of water we drained. This definitely beats buckets and pitchers!!!! A MUST HAVE for any aquarium owner. One of our fish swam into the tube while it was sucking up the gradu, with no bad results. He thought it was a party!! Incredible and worth every penny!!"

"The 3 fish we have had for just over a year have been more maintenance than the dog we've had for 12 years! They are beautiful and sweet but if I had known how big a job cleaning the tank would be I probably wouldn't have gotten them. Luckliy we found this fantastic product that has cut the cleaning time in half. I can't imagine still hauling buckets of water!!"

"I debated spending the money on this because I am cheap! I broke down and finally bought it because I hurt my back and didn't want to have to carry the water back and forth to the tank, I truly looked like the drawing on the pacakge!!! Anyway, like I said I bought the 25' and a 20' extension. This is the BEST THING EVER!!! I love my aquarium again. I had so much thick chunky stuff that this pulled out of the gravel and washed down the sink. It is amazing. I wish I would have bought it years ago! "The Phython is awesome I have a 60 gallon, 28 gallon, 30 gallon, 35 gallon, 20 gallon, and 5 gallon tank. You can only imagine how much time and lifting was involved in keeping all those tanks clean. I bought the python a month ago and decided to to water changes on all my tanks in the same day it took me an hour to do what would have taken hours!!! easy to use and no more spills!!!!! definately recommend. :)"

"...besides the fish! The only way to change the water! This product takes the labor, strain and hassle away and turns it into a quick, easy and even fun chore.
