I have lots and lots of cats, and as a result, lots and LOTS of cat droppings, lol. I had reached the end of my rope with the constant scooping of conventional boxes, as I had eith of them scattered around the house. I have a bad back, and after scooping eight boxes, my lower back was often tight and sore. I considered other automatic litterboxes, but read many reviews on various sites about how the newer models break down almost immediately, and I was not going to make a $100 plus investment per box for something that was not reliable. Omega paws was the answer......and I could not be more pleased. I bought four of them, and found them easy to put together, and it didn't take long at all before my cats figgered out that they were for deposits, not lounging about in (tho a few of them were happy to just hang out in the box until someone else left a deposit, lol). All but my largest cat fits easily in the box (and to be fair, she is the size of a small lion), but she has figured out that it is a better idea to NOT leave her back end hanging outside of the box as she does her business. Whereas before I had to force myself to scoop eight conventional on anything resembling a daily basis, I find that the omega paws boxes are SOOOO easy to clean that I empty them all several times a day, and it takes under a minute to do all four. I am happier, my cats are certainly happier, and I would (and have) recommended the omega paws box to anyone who is simply DONE with scooping. I have ten cats, and four boxes is more than adequate, in fact, I could have probaby gotten away with two or three, as I am MUCH more diligent in cleaning them now that it is so quick and so much easier on my back.

Half a dozen years ago, sick of trawling through litter boxes with a scoop, we made the decision to spend more money than we wanted to and buy a couple of self-cleaning litter boxes.
Every one I saw was over a hundred bucks and I could see five ways it could jam or malfunction just from a quick look at the picture. Then I saw these. We ordered two to try them out. Than we ordered several more and these became the only litter box we use for our menagerie.
This recent purchase was one for us so we can rotate the boxes out and hose them down once a year, and two for a friend who just took in her fourth stray.
There is nothing quite as awe-inspiring as an innovation that works well, requires no power and has almost no moving parts. I don't recommend these to friends, I tell anyone who'll listen that this is the only litter box they should ever buy or the angels will weep for them.

I am an older lady and find this litter box hard to handle. It's difficult to roll all the way to the top in order to dump its load in the hopper. The concept is clever, but not such a good solution for me.

This box is our first, but I've reverted to just using a scooper inside of the box. There were two problems I couldn't overcome. The first was that the urine clumps would stick to the bottom of the box, so they wouldn't fall into the collection bin. The second was that when you rolled the box to collect the waste, cat litter ALWAYS spilled out onto the floor (usually at the seam between the top and bottom of the litter box). So I always ended up wiping or sweeping the floor. It was easier to control the litter falling onto the floor with the scooper.

concept is great... but those levers that have to secure the lid to the bottom - don't line up - if you got one secured another would pop. wound up using it as a regular box... at leaslt it's less litter to clean up. disappointed because not much more had to be done to make sure this worked and stayed securue....

This litter box is amazing. I've heard the expensive automatic-cleaning litter boxes broke after a year and jammed sometimes, so I wanted to avoid those, but I was also SO sick and tired of scooping. I only have two cats, but it adds up quickly. This is without a doubt the BEST investment I've made in $30. It's so cheap for such convenience-I haven't had to scoop once since this new box! My cats love the darkness and privacy that the dome provides and it's so simple to clean, you just roll it over!
I have nothing negative to say about this product, except that I had to cut one of the slits because the tab wouldn't fit into it the way it was cut. Also, I was afraid mine was broken because I rolled it over and the waste was still in the box-the trick is to roll it over slowly, then to keep rolling it so it's almost completely upside-down. It all falls into a pull out shovel and is so convenient!!! No more wasting money on scoops, wasted litter, or litter bags. I want to buy another!

I accidentally found this litter box online. I don't even have the words to describe how awesome it is. I have always been a dog lover but due to moving back to an apartment my daughter talked me into getting a kitten and of course when I got that, I got him a friend so I ended up with two cats. The main reason I didn't want cats was because I knew I would be the one cleaning the litter box and I hate it! I got to the point where I was just throwing out more litter boxes then I was cleaning just because I was tired and didn't want any smell. I started looking for a self cleaning litter box because although I love love love my cats who are grown now, I hate the cleaning and thought I would treat myself to a self cleaning litter box. Way too expensive for me but I stumbled onto this litter box and watched the video and thought, seriously it can't be that easy. I ran out that day and bought one. Not only is it that easy! My cats love it! Where has this been all my life. If you don't have one, you need to go get one today! it is the most awesome thing I have ever seen and I clean my litter box all the time now cause it is so easy and not messy and not a chore at all, just roll it and dump it. Amazing, every cat owner should have one

We have been automatic kitty litter users for the past 10 years. After being discussed by the amount of maintenance that went into the four automatics we decided to switch to the Omega Paw Roll 'n Clean Litter Box. We absolutely love it. It is easy to clean and the kitty litter lasts longer than with our automatic. I would recommend this to any one!!!

The idea behind this litter box is great, but the product is very poorly constructed. The top of the box has several "locks" to keep it in place, but they do not work properly. Since it has to be rolled over to separate the clumps from the litter, the top must be secure. The video shows the locks easily snapping into place, but that's not what I experienced. I had to return it to Petco.

We have 4 cat boxes, 5 cats. My husband is the one who normally cleans the litter boxes when he takes out the trash - he said the litter box worked great and he wants to get a couple more to replace the other ones we have. We have the normal hooded ones currently. We ordered the large Roll 'n Clean box but I'm going to get a smaller one for a small space now. Great product! Also Petco is always a great website to order from - received the litter box in a couple days.

Latches are grip and slide. Should have snap latches instead because the grip and slide latches are not strong enough to support the box once the litter in placed in it. Kept the litter box, but now it is awkward to use. Tend to spill litter out from the weak latches. Bummer.

I have always been a dog owner and never had a cat. My family convinced me to adopt a kitten from the local shelter. After a lot of searching, I bought the Omega litter box. It is absolutely wonderful! The cleanup couldn't be easier and the kitten took to it immediately. Thank you.

I have 4 cats and with both me and my husband work full time. So as you can imagine we didn't keep up too well with scooping the litter boxes. I had been looking for several months for automated litter boxes but didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars since I would have to buy at least two. I stumbled upon this litter box. It still involves me having to do a little bit of work which I don't mind since it literally takes a couple of minutes or less to clean it. We bought 2 to start off and kept using one of our regular litter boxes. I cleaned both omega paw boxes before my husband was even done scooping the normal box. I would definitely recommend anyone with a cat use this. It's so simple, quick, and easy! Also, I would definitely go with the larger size. I was little surprised by the large size one (I thought it would be a little bigger) and I would hate to see how big the small one was. I went with the bigger one to be safe since it wasn't carried in my local petco.

I was really tired of scooping. I was ready to pay a hefty price for an automatic litter box just to make life easier. But the reviews on those made me leery of their durability. The Omega Paw does make it easy to to get the clumps out without a lot of digging. YAY!
A major plus is Omega costs WAY less than the automatic litter boxes. Also, my kitties prefer an enclosed box, and that costs extra with the electric boxes. Clean up is pretty easy as all the parts are plastic and submersible.
But, Omega paw is not precision made. After a few days the latches came undone and we had a litter spill. So you should check every time before you roll it to make sure they're secure. (They probably loosened when I thumped the bottom during the rolling process)
Also the screening slots are pretty big, so tiny poops will stay in the box.
Those are two problems that the makers could address with some tweaking, and the only reason I gave it 4 paws instead of 5.

I would definitely recommend this product. Make sure you watch the video and read the other reviews for advice on how to use it.

the omega paw roll n clean litter box does not live up to its advertising. the litter sticks to the side of the box where the cat has voided which requires hitting all around the sides to loosen the clumped ltter before rolling the box to empty. I tried two types of litter, the dense heavy tpe and the light corn cob litter and the latter was worse, with the drawer filling up entirely with both waste and litter.

I have two cats, and both took to using this new box immediately. It makes cleaning *much* easier - no scooping, no searching through a pile of plastic grocery bags looking for one without a hole in it, etc. And certainly a *lot* cheaper than the automatic machines that I had originally been researching when I came across this, not to mention that there's nothing mechanical or electrical in this one to break down.
There are two small quibbles I have that prevent me from giving a 5-star rating:
First is the inconvenience of adding litter. Your choices seem to be either remove the entire cover to pour litter directly in or (my current method) to use an old measuring cup/scoop to add new litter in through the front a cup at a time. I would love to see some kind of hinged door on the top that would allow you to pour new litter in directly out of the box/bag without having to completely remove the top half of the litter box.
The second is knowing the right amount of litter to put in - too much and the excess ends up in the disposal bin. Too little and urine clumps can stick to the floor, requiring removal of the top half and resorting to a scoop to get them loose. A simple fill line embossed on the inside of the pan would be a great addition.

When rotating the drum, the seam on the end parts and dumps litter all over floor. I bought two and they both do the same thing. One seems warped, the other seems to fit together ok, but still dumps litter.

I have 2 cats and this is the best litter box I have ever purchased. It was simple to assemble and is very easy to clean and keep clean. No more scooping for me!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE it and would recommend it for anyone else who hates to scoop!!
