What a bargain!

"Riley has a tendancy to follow me around. When I need to keep him preocuppied, I would normally give him a Bimple. Being edible, the Bimples would only last him 15 minutes at the most. Riley is a Bull Terrier, and I had seen this Galileo bone recommended in Betty Desmond's book on Bull Terriers. Riley is a 6 month old puppy, weighing 45#. We purchased the Wolf size. Riley has destroyed every other toy we have ever given him, except for Kongs which don't usually interest him unless they're filled with Puppy Stuffing. Considering the fact that this should last for months, I feel that this is an incredible value! Everything else we pay around $10 on average for only lasts a day or two. So I am thrilled with this bone! I would recommend it for any strong chewer or teething puppy."

"My dobie-shepherd has powered through every other dog toy in hours, yet these have lasted for months each, and she loves them until the very end. I toss them in the dishwasher when they get icky, so they're even easy to maintain. The only toy I'll ever buy for mr strong chewers."

"Both of my dogs love this bone. It's very sturdy and gives them months of chewing pleasure. I do suggest that you purchase the correct size. My dogs do not really care for a larger size.

Nylabone galileo is great for strong chewers

"I have bought several toys for my dog including the black large kong, tuff tennis balls etc...and my dog has wrecked them all. When I told a few people they where surprised, especially since he is a lab. I was desparate to find something and I tried the nylabone after someone suggested it. I have had it for a few months already and my dog loves chewing on it. Only reason I didn't give it a 5 overall is because the teeth marks on the bone make the bone uncomforable for me to touch."

Longest Lasting

"This has got to be the longest lasting bone for power chewers! It doesn't make a mess, won't block digestive tracts like many rawhide chews will, and it must taste great because every dog I've gotten this for will hardly put it down. Don't throw it to your dog though - I imagine it could shatter teeth if hit hard enough."

"This is the only chew toy that can stand up to our mutt (part pit bull). Nylabone once paid him to test some of there other chew toys but they didn't last more than a few minutes. We get almost a year out these."

"This product worked great for my powerful chewer. Most other chews were destroyed in a matter on minutes. Definately worth the money, it has been about 6mos since we bougt ours."

"I bought a Galileo bone for each of my dogs last Xmas. They are both strong chewers, one being a Bullmastiff/Shepherd mix. I am very impressed with the quality of this bone. My girls carry them from room to room and gnaw at them almost 24 hrs a day, even taking them to bed. They both love the Galileo. The ends are chewed down but they still have plenty of bone left. I considered buying them new ones for this Xmas but I don't need to. They have probably another year left in these bones. For a strong chewer, you can't do any better than the Galileo. It is a great value. "
