"My Lab/Beagle is an extremely strong chewer (he chewed through a Kong!) and this is the ONLY chew toy he hasn't gone through in a couple hours/days! Reilly has had his Galileo for over 6 months now and has barely chewed one knuckle off...It is his favorite bone! He takes it everywhere...outside, camping, bed, etc. Best investment I've made on a bone or toy!!!"

"the pups- 2 pit bulls- luv these large bones. they are big chewers so the regular large nylabone got eaten too fast. These bones are really heavy and strong, so they should only be used outside or on carpet. The dogs dropped one on our tile and chipped the tile floor, but the bone was just fine"

"I bought this product for my lab who's a very strong chewer. He love the nylabone durables and destroys them in a few weeks so i figured this should be an upgrade in material and last longer. He loved the bone. It lasted about 2 weeks. Everywhere he played with the bone, little white pieces of the bone would fall off and cover the area which was pretty annoying to step on, more than the bone it's self."

"Our German shepard mix was able to chew everything up (and I mean everything) in just a short period of time,that is, until we purchased the Nylabone.He has had it for over a month now and has not been able to destory it and still loves to chew on it.
Yes,it is alittle exspensive but,when you consider how fast a dog can go through the other chew toys than the Nylabone is very cheap."

"I have an 22 month old English Mastiff who can chew through most bones within a very short time.

"I have a Mini Dachshund who is a SUPER CHEWER when it comes to her toys. She is 2 1/2 yrs old, 10 lbs. and in perfect health with a very controlled diet. We have spent untold $$$ in search of something strong enough to hold up to her.
I bought the "Wolf Size" for our little girl. I gave it to her this afternoon and after 45 minutes I will be surprised if it would last more than a week and I think that's optimistic. Stay tuned for an update in a week. This could prove to be a success?
Nylabone folks-- my gal can ULTIMATELY test and tear up ANY product you would like to advertise as INDESTRUCTIBLE."

"I have spent hundreds of dollars looking for something my 10 mon. old pitbull pup could not destroy-this is it! I was skeptical at first because of the cost, but let me tell you, this bone is worth its weight in gold! My pup loves it and now prefers it over regular rawhide chews. I am so thankful I bought this bone and previous reviews did influence my purchase."

"I've tried EVERY type of chew toy claiming to be "virtually" indestructible only to see it destroyed in mere minutes or even seconds by my three different chewing dogs. This bone is great for their teeth and safe!! It's not made for throwing and if you're not used to it you might not believe it's for chewing, but it is and your dogs will LOVE it!!"

"We bought this bone when we were at the end of our rope trying to find strong chew toys for our Lab/Beagle mix. This is the only product we've found that is strong enough to resist her chewing it over long periods of time. If you have a dog who is a world-class chewer, this is your bone!"

"These bones are the best and are worht the cost. My Dog chews through regular nylabones and other chews so quickly it is ridiculous. These are the only bones that stand up to his aggressive chewing style. They are a bargain in my mind!"

"It seemed a little soft at first because the grooves my 60lb, 10 month old lab left it in were deep, but it has stayed intact. The Wolf one is slightly on the small side for her -- but my puppy tends to like small toys that she can carry easily."

What a bargain!

"Riley has a tendancy to follow me around. When I need to keep him preocuppied, I would normally give him a Bimple. Being edible, the Bimples would only last him 15 minutes at the most. Riley is a Bull Terrier, and I had seen this Galileo bone recommended in Betty Desmond's book on Bull Terriers. Riley is a 6 month old puppy, weighing 45#. We purchased the Wolf size. Riley has destroyed every other toy we have ever given him, except for Kongs which don't usually interest him unless they're filled with Puppy Stuffing. Considering the fact that this should last for months, I feel that this is an incredible value! Everything else we pay around $10 on average for only lasts a day or two. So I am thrilled with this bone! I would recommend it for any strong chewer or teething puppy."
