Amazing Ingredients!!

"This is an awesome dog food! Ruby my Red nosed pitbull just loves it! She cleans her bowl like with no other foods, and her coat is so shiny and bright! I won't ever feed her another brand! I was feeding her Chicken Soup dog food, but it just didn't seem like it interested her at all. It had a bit of a fake smell to it, and she just wasn't looking like the best she could. I leave her a bowl of this food out all the time, and she just loves it! The wet food and treats are great too!"

"We think our EBT started to develop allergies around 6 months old. The breeder fed Diamond which they had no issues with, but was hard to find in our area. We switched to Nutro lamb & rice and his coat was still dull and his leg was itchy and raw. Overall, he tolerated these different foods, but always seemed itchy.
We did not fully realize his food allergies until after he accidentally ate our friend's dog's food (Beneful) and broke out in head to toe hives. I researched online and found Nature's Recipe Healthy Skin formula and he has been eating it for approximately 6 months. He likes the food and never seems to get tired of the food like he did with other brands. His skin fully healed after about 3 months. He is no longer itchy and no longer has hot spots or bald spots. He likes the crunchy and the soft treats they make also. I would recommend this to anyone with dogs allergic to corn, wheat or gluten."

"Between the 4 dogs we have, ALL of the dogs LOVE this food. No dog walks away from their bowl until all of the food is gone and the bowls are licked clean. Great Value!"

Great for allergic dogs

"We have a Great Dane who is allergic to everything (even cotton) We had him on a special diet from the vet office (about $90 for a 30lb bag) It helped but Louie was still having break outs. We decided to have him tested and found that Venison was the only protein that he was not allergic to. We tried the Nature's Recipe hoping this would be our cure all...It Worked!!! He is beautiful and healthy and no longer struggles with skin irritation or intestinal discomfort. We have switched our Golden to it as well and our cat is now on a Nature's Recipe food. All are doing great."

"We had been using the same dog food all of Bugsy's life. They suddenly changed their formula around the time he was stolen. When we got him back, he wouldn't eat and had lost 10 lbs. We changed our dogs over to Nature's Recipe Venison formula. Not only does Bugsy and our Jack Russell love the food, but they both have lost all body fat and are solid muscle now. They look great, the vet says they are healthy and their energy is back!"

Only Food for My Dog

"My Golden Retriever began having digestive and skin problems several years ago. My vet told me to look for a dog food that doesn't contain corn or wheat. Nature's Recipe Venison & Rice Healthy Skin Formula fit the bill. My dog has been eating it for years with no problems. She is 8 years old and is thriving. Her coat is healthy and her stools are firm, compact and easy to scoop up."

"Recently started buying this brand due to one of my dogs is allergic to corn, wheat and beets. This is a great product since when I gradually moved my dogs food from a latter brand to this one, not one showed any problems at all. Have also recommended this to several customers at Petco when I am shopping since their dogs also, had the same allergy problems."

"Our dog bella was scratching and bitting her self off and on for over a year. We were told she had allergies and we tried everthing the doctor gave us but nothing was working. We even change her dog food many times but still nothing, until I seen natures recipe at petco one day. I looked it over and noticed it was the only one that did not have fillers, wheat, corn, or beef byproducts. So I bought it. Its been about a year now and she doesnt scratch or chew on her self any more, it took awhile so don't be discouraged if you try it, give it time."

"Our adopted Golden has severe skin allergies. I just couldn't watch him gnaw on his paws anylonger. Found this brand and noticed a difference with in 2 days. He seems happier now that he isn't spending all his time scratching and chewing his paws."

"I bought this product to help with my dogs itchy skin. My dogs didn't care much for the venison formula. They usually eat their bowl full of food pretty quickly but this seems to sit for awhile. I started mixing in Castor & Pollux hollistic brand and they gobbled it up pretty quickly. Will be back to review that brand after several weeks of trying it.
P.S. I have a friend that tried the venison type and also said his 2 dogs didn't like it either. I would recommend trying a small bag first."

"I have used Bil-Jac and this food for our dog Ben. Ben seems to enjoy eating it and his coat is in great shape, people always say he look so good. The food itself seems to be easy for him to eat and digest. I also feed him a vitamin each day and I enhance the food with an oil based product. I think it is so important to feed your pet a high quality food.

Great for dogs with allergies!

"My 5 year old Brittany, Logan, switched to this food at the advice of a friend. He has allergies, but his skin and coat have been perfectly healthy since we began feeding it to him. And he thinks it's delicious. (He likes their Venison treats too!)"
