"This is my favourite basic siphon for average sized aquariums. It's economical but of much better quality than other siphons, and the angled end is very useful. It also holds up extremely well to weekly gravel cleanings and water changes of multiple aquariums, but because it is inexpensive it is easy to replace periodically. I would highly recommend it and I would say it is the best!"

would not buy again

"This item is way to big for my 2.5 gal tank. I cannot use it but it will cost me to much to send it back so I will have to keep it. When ordering this item the description should give the size of the tank that it would be best for."
