Excellent brand!
Date: July 16, 2009
"Dear fellow dog owners,
This is an excellent food! My two 15 year old Shih Tzus, Gadget and Cosmos, both love this brand of dog food! It has kept their coat bright and shiny since I first got them from the breeder. They have eaten this food since they were 8 weeks old, and they have never had any trouble digesting it.
Sincerely,
MeowMeow

In Good Shape
Date: April 26, 2009
"I have a 6 year old mini Australian Shepherd, she was raised on IAM's mini chunks, however, I adopted a full Australian Shepherd, eating me out of house & home, and i had to try to conserve, so changed the food, my mini lost her great shape and i am back to the IAM's, no compare, far the best food."

BAD DOG FOOD
Date: January 30, 2008
"I fed this to my Rottweiler - she did poorly with it - look at the ingredients -corn, fillers, by-products, soghrum - has vertually no nutritional value. Spend a little more $$ and buy a quality food that will save you vet bills !!"

Quality food
Date: January 27, 2007
"We have a 3yr-old Weinaraner with a very finicky system and Iams is the only food she can eat and she has been on it for 2 1/2 years. The veterinarian always comments on how nice her coat and teeth are and attributes it to the Iams food. She is a very high energy dog and seems to get what she needs from Iam without weight problems, despite beeing kenneled during the day. We have not noticed any bad breath or overly messy "gifts" in the yard. Overall, I think this is a very good food for large, high-energy dogs of any age. It is also fairly priced."

Iams Creates Solid Stools
Date: June 28, 2006
"I have two very active dogs, who have done very well with IAMS chunks adult dog food. They had problems with loose stools when using other food products, but since I have switched to IAMS, their stools have been solid and compact. I also like to use the mini chunks as the treats that I hide in other products for playtime and to prevent boredom. Both dogs really seem to like their food. I may end up trying the "active formula" that IAMS puts out, due to the fact that I have an Australian Shepherd mix, and a Border Collie mix, and they are both extremely active. Regardless of which IAMS food product I choose, "Thanks IAMS" for making my "clean-up" duties easier, and making my dogs happy."

Good dental care also
Date: November 16, 2005
"I have five dogs, one American Eskimo who tends to get tartar buildup. My vet wanted me to feed him another product, which was very expensive and only available through him. He said it helped prevent buildup due to the shredding effect of eating the dog food. That wasn't enough for me. I called all four of the top dog food manufacturers, and Iams told me that they are now including an enzyme in their dog food that acts like baking soda, and causes the saliva to foam up, breaking up any particles that are left over from crunching the kibble. Made a lot more sense to me than a dog food that cleans the teeth by shredding. I follow up his food with quality chew toys to help keep the gums in shape and an occasional brushing. So far by changing dog foods, I've saved an enormous cleaning bill. Thanks for the info, Iams."
