"When my dog was a puppy the only thing he would eat was this dry food. Ever since then he has stayed on the science diet food because it is the only food that he will eat. I recommend this to anyone with a picky puppy!!"
"When i got my yorkie, London, the breeder used a different food. she was used to eating one of the foods that i had heard not so fantastic things about, so i decided to get this kind because its vet recommended. at first it was hard for her to chew but she liked the taste of it. now she has no problem, shes 12 weeks now. she devours this, we got the canned version of it too, in savory chicken flavor (i think thats the only puppy flavor) and she loves that too. she had no problem switching over from the other food, shes healthy and happy and her coat is gorgeous!"
"I bought the small bites version of this food for my puppy because it is what my vet sells so I figured it had to be good, but I have had such a hard time getting her to eat it. I ended up having to buy wet food to mix with it so that she could get through the bag and I could get a different food. My puppy is a major chow hound and is definately not a picky eater so I can only conclude that this food is just plain yucky."
"Science diet, at one point and time, probably an extremely good food, however, now, I'm disgusted Vets even mention it. I'm even more disgusted PetCo carries it over Canadae, which is a great food without wheat or corn, and no byproducts, which Science Diet loves to use. So, to eveyone feeding your dogs this, I would reccomend switching, as byproducts are extremely bad for your dog, especially your puppies as they can't handle it nearly as well as older dogs."
"My new puppies coat was dull and her skin was flaky...the vet recommended Hill's Science Diet Small bites and after only a week I began to see improvements in my puppy's coat. Now her coat is incredibly shiny and smooth and the dandruf is gone! Worth the extra money to keep your dog happy and healthy."
"My little Shih Tzu, Max gobbles this food up. We feed him 3 times a day (breakfast,lunch,dinner) and every time we have to turn the bowl so he can lick the sides. I really recomend this food to other dog owners and Max does too!"
