"There are better premium foods out there. Do research and compare ingredients. I did and I was astonished at what was in this food! Barely better than grocery store brands. Certainly not the quality of food it used to be and still just as pricey."

"We all know how finicky cats can be. Our particular cat has about 8-9 bags of dry food open at one time (spoiled cat!). We switch to different brands from time to time (wife says he wants variety in his food, like her!), but he genuinely seems to love his Science Diet (especially this Original flavor) - no question that our cat is definitely a Science Diet cat! Original, Ocean Fish and Rice, Hairball and Indoor are his SD choices and staples. The other brands are for "variety," and not nearly as favorable. I understand that our cat is a Science Diet cat and yours may not be. Other foods he doesn't eat go to the shelter so as not to waste the purchase."

"Hills Science diet Adult Maintenance is the only food I feed my cats. I have been using this brand for over 18 years. My cat Gizmo lived to be 17.5 years old, with no major health issues until the very end (which was in January 2008). At that point it was hyperthyroidism that took her away, the type of food didn't matter. She lived a long, health life. She never had any urinary, kidney or skin problems. I am a Licensed Veterinary Technician and Hills brand is the only food I recommend to clients."

"Many years ago I ended up with a scruffy kitten a friend found in a ditch. I was only going to keep him over the weekend, then find a home. By monday morning we had a appoitment with our vet. Webster was diagnosed with feline lukemia. I had a choice, yes, I kept him. My vet recommened Sicence Diet. I know it made Webster a healther cat. Normal lukemia takes the animal in 2 years. Webster was 4 1/2 years old when he became an "angle on my shoulder." Now I have Moman. He found me. We've been together for 4 years and he is healthy, happy and his healing time after several "Kitty Fights" has been amazing. I will never use anything else for my animals. Hills Sicence Diet, ROCKS!!!"

"I have two cats, both of the tabby sort, one of them is going on 10 yrs and the other on 6 years. I have fed them Science Diet from a 20 lb bag since they were very young and they are extremely healthly (as my vet says). Realizing the cost of this food, if you bought another cheap brand, you'd run out faster, the litter box would be a lot fuller (and smellier), and you would eventually pay more than the cost of Science Diet.
Their eyes are bright, their coats beautiful, and I don't mind paying the extra money. I have found that in the long run, it's a bargain in many ways. My cats won't eat anything else!"

"Hills Science Diet (any variety) is the best food I have ever fed my cats. I've used a variety of formulas from kitten to adulthood. My cats are extremely healthy. I recommend that anyone use this brand for guaranteed health. The only formula I have found to be less palatable is the Hair Ball Control. Other than that, this is the perfect food."

"We love Science Diet, not only for our cat but for our dogs too! Our cat has been on Science Diet since she was a kitten. When we got our cat she was less than 2 lbs very thin for her age and malnutritioned. Her fur was an ugly short dull gray color. Since she has been on Science Diet her fur as turned to jet black and is as shiny as can be! She is a very healthy and active cat now. We believe Science Diet is the reason."

"I used to think all the talk about the premium brands being better for my cat was just a ploy to get me to spend more money. Upon my Vets advice, I tried Science Diet and could see improvements after using just one bag. My five cats have never looked better! My 13 yr. old is playing like a kitten again and her coat, which was looking kind of shabby, is full and gorgeous. All my cats love it. They eat less of it, so I am cleaning the cat box once a day compared to 2-3 times. Science Diet does cost more than some other brands, but I'm not spending more because they only eat half of what they used to. I buy less cat food and cat litter overall. I won't even consider going back to the cheaper brands after seeing what a difference Science Diet has made in my cats health and vitality. They are my family and they deserve the best. I recommend it to all my friends who have pets."
