"This is a very large nicely constructed cage that easily houses 2 ferrets. No tools required for anything but attaching the wheels. Everything easily snaps together and it's very secure, no escapes so far. This cage is incredibly easy to clean, a big plus when it needs to be done so often. The shelves are easy to move/remove for different configurations until you find the best arrangement for your critters. EXTRAS: The Super Pets corner litter pan (not included) fits nicely in the bottom and secures to the wire part of the cage. The hamster corner litter pan works well as a food dish, it attached to the cage nicely with a zip tie. Using the corner items lets a good bit of foor space available for playing."

Deluxe house for a "fat" rat

"After adopting an adult male rat at our local Petco, we decided his first cage was too small for him. Upon researching on various websites on customer reviews and price, this Super Pet Multi-Floor Ferret Home sounded perfect for our Ben! Ben is a rather large rat and is extremely active. He absolutely loves his new home. Easy to clean, easy access, best of all the plastic tray levels are not flimsy, are easy to remove and replace after cleaning, and gives Ben lots of levels to climb without worry of him injuring his leg in other brands that have wire flooring or flimsy cage sides. If you have a larger size rat, this is a definite must have. It allows your friend to move around more and climb as they love to do. The wheels lock so it won't roll around. I can't say enough about this home. It is worth the little extra money for an excellent quality home and plenty of activities for your pet to keep busy."

"DONT BUY!!! Not only is this cage a pain to set up but to set it up so your ferret can move around easialy is imposable. Ferrets are to smart and quickly find out how to open the doors resulting in excape of the ferrets. I have only owned this cage for a month and already i have to lock the doors so they cant get out or just so they stay shut while they are playing around"

"This was the 2nd cage that we had gotten for our two ferrets. Once we had it all put togehter, it was kind of small to put their hammocks and tunnel in. They rarely used the ramps going up so this cage was just not good enough for them."

"I bought this for my 2 male rats and when I first put it together I was so happy because of how big it is. I soon realized that when the boys stood on the shelves they started sagging right away. The ladder has fallen off about 5 times in less than a week. I ordered another cage that I think will work better for my boys. If you have light pets who need a lot of room this might be a good cage for you."

"I truly regret ever purchasing this thing. What a waste of money! We thought it would be great for our new ferrets. We got it home, it was a little confusing to put together. The slide never worked right, and ended up breaking off after less than a week and spilling one ferret to the bottom. The ferrets chewed through the hammock in just a few days. Then the ramp broke off. Not to mention, ferrets feces so much, this cage has to be cleaned twice a day. The shelves are extremely hard to get in and out and you end up covered in feces. This cage by itself has practically been enough to turn me off of having ferrets themselves. Don't waste your money!"

"I bought this cage for my Ferret thinking it would be a nice big playful cage for him, while it was pretty big, it was very cheap. As soon as i opened it there was broke pieces. The slide was cracked and the second he stepped on it he fell down and broke it. The cage itself was very bent up and extremely hard to assemble because the hooks were all bent. The opening and bends in the slide and tubes were not even big enough for my poor baby to get though, and he isnt even that big. There is no way that he could bend his back to get through that tube. Overall i think this is a bad cage for anyone. Not designed well for ferrets and i think the bars are too big for rats. Totally a waste of money and i am going to return it tomorrow."

"I bought this cage for my two ferrets because it was big and the price was really good. After about 1 month the plastic ramps and tubes broke, the shelves are all sagging, and my ferrets have actually squeezed through the bars and gotten out. It would be a really good cage if it were more sturdy however it's not a good buy for adventurous ferrets."

"I just recently bought this cage for my two ferrets, Leo and Leona. It was a pretty big upgrade, we just recently acquired the biting Leona from Petland. I felt bad nobody would buy her because she bit. But They both absolutely love the new cage. Leo is a little to fat for the slide it tips over. Leona is slightly smaller and she just goes right down it. They enjoying going in and out of the tunnels, and climbing the different levels. We even got a bird latter and put it up the side. They enjoy climbing up to the top. This cage is very easy to move around. Extremely easy to undo and clean it. I high recommend this cage to anybody. It easily will hold two ferrets."

"Once its put together its impressive looking however... my daughter has a runt ferret so she is a bit smaller than normal and the box had a picture of 2 ferrets on it... I personally dont think its big enough for 2 normal size ferrets. Also the green slides are hard to snap together and we accidentally broke one of the snaps. so now we have to buy some safe glue to put it together. also the ladder was not built correctly. the instructions show it one way and the box show it another and we couldnt put it on either way. it was not made the way they say to snap it on so we had to conmpromise and find a way to snap it on the bars of the cage but now it moves. If i knew than what i know now i would have saved my pennies longer and bought a wider cage with much less plastic."

"My daughter went with her father and this is the cage they bought. I did not know until after she put it together it was missing pieces and the sides wore tilted. I jus had spine surgery a few weeks ago so I have a ride tomorrow hopefully I will be able to exchange this it has been bothering me so much and she cleans it every day but has to go through so much because the cage is not sturdy. I love petco over any other store this is the first time its happened and i have bought from the store for a long time . I just dont want anyone else to go through this"

"The same day that I got my chinchilla I chose this cage because the chinchilla cages petco had seemed too small. When i first opened the box i thought i would be hard but it was super easy. The snapping levels are easy to arrange and i can change it to suit chinchi. It took me about 13 minutes to assemble. BUT if you buy this for a chinchilla you should change the spiral cage to somthing different because its too flimsy for a chinchilla. Mine just jumps from the second level to the second one. Very Good for chinchillas."

"I just recently bought this cage and i already love it. It was very easy to put together and is very well constructed. I only have my one ferret who lives in it and it gives her PLENTY of room to run around in, which is good so she can get exercise while ii work long hours. You could easily put at least two ferret's in. Its very easy to clean and with the pals card it only was $120! a veryyyyy great deal =)"

"I have to admit i'm a new ferret owner, but i'm pretty savy when it comes to putting things together, got it home, it looked neat in the store and still does but isn't very ferret friendly, he's already thrown his bedding in the bottom outside of the cage, which i kind of expected already so i just put down a good outdoor mad, also that little whind around slide thing, well it's useless my poor ferret can't fit through it, the little ramp is fine and i'm not sure why the manufacturer would sell a product that i would say couldn't be used by many. As far as flimsy it is but my ferret is still young so i'm sure i will need to replace platforms as i go. Cleaning isn't so bad so far, all the shelves wipe down easy but i do agree with others DON"T move them to often or the clasps holding them on will break. also to change bedding which i haven't had to do yet but am dreading as i realize you have to pull off the entire top of the cage just to get to the bottom. I'm sure i will be getting him a better home soon but for now i guess this will have to do, i will def. rearange it to where he can get to upper levels and off of them without having to jump off. I wouldn't reccomend this product, for the overall value it's just not worth it, spend the extra fifty bucks and get the step up from this one."

Good cage for two grown rats: )

"I have two beautiful female rats.(agouti hooded dumbo and a black hooded) The agouti hooded dumbo is extremely hyper, always wanting to explore, and all over the place. This cage is good for her to run around in. It is great for hanging hammocks and such too. This cage made potty training much easier. This is because it is so big they choose a spot to have their potty. It is pretty escape proof and for my rats, I don't need to latch the top door on their "roof". My rats love climbing up and down the cage including scaling up and down the bars. This cage is also pretty easy to clean but the shelves. The shelves have little trench-like ditches around the side were stuff gets stuck in. It was also easy to assemble and only took a short amount of time. I have rat play dates all the time and it is great for them. The only things that I can complain about is that is isn't powder-coated as it should, doors have gotten paws and tails stuck in the door with no major injures(only a little squeak) caused by lack of space beween the bars and the door, and the plastic. The plastic tube that goes from the lowest shelf to the bottom broke and is set on the ground(which my rats like better). Also, one of the latches that holds the wired cage to the bottom was chewed away and is now useless. The little clip that says my super pet _______ is always pulled in and chewed on(I have no idea how they get it unlatched). When I have raqt play dates, when they have a scruffle, once or twice they have fallen and landed fine on the beding giving me a scare. Overall, I think that this is nice cage.:)"

"I have a freaking awesome little boy ferret that seems to like the cage for the most part but it's not big enough to keep him entertained long after he wakes up so he spends more time outside of it. I don't like how flimsy the shelving is but for food and sleep and a little exercise its pretty good. I wouldn't recommend it for multiple ferrets because there's really only room for one hammock and its kind of a small enclosure so if you have an only child or smaller pets I would recommend it but if you get a ferret expect to spend a lot of time outside the cage because its a little small for them."
