I give my hamster one handful of this a day, and she loves it! She eats it up very quickly, and she always wants more. I would say give your small animals one handful per animal per day. (ex. 2 rabbits=2 handfuls a day)

My guinea pig eats it but it does have really hard pieces of hay that are like sticks and its powdery on the bottom. I would recommend the orchard grass instead.

Kaytee Timothy hay is always fresh and compactly bundled so you're getting your money's worth and a small bag seems to last longer. My two piggies love it; Fluffy popcorns like crazy and runs around in circles like a nut when I put it in their cage. Cinammon, who's a bit pudgy (we call her big boned), just digs right in.

I've bought hay from different places. It seems simple yet, you can get old hay or just big and thick pieces. No good. This is fresh and seems to be cut then straight in bag. Good variety of small pieces, long pieces, short pieces, the shreds (great btw) and smells fresh. A+

I have a finicky guinea pig, and this hay is one of the few things he will devour every time. I get the large bags delivered since we go through a lot of hay, and they're a great value. My only complaint is that they should have a better mechanism for resealing the bags once you've opened them; those little plastic tabs break too easily and don't hold the bag closed. I know there are clips and twist-ties and other things I can use, but I would love it if they put the hay in a resealable bag that simply zipped closed. Other than that, I have no complaints.

My little guinea pig just loves this hay. She popcorns whenever I bring it out of the closet to give her some. I have never had a problem with this product. The cut of hay is great for her cage, and she seems to really enjoy every last piece.

My bunny of course loves this stuff - chows down on it all day and is healthy. I occasionally pet-sit my friends' guinea pigs as well - she doesn't feed them hay but they sure love it when we give them some - they beg when they see us offering it to the bunny. My only complaint would be that I go through it very quickly - a 48oz bag lasts about 2 weeks and my local store 1. doesn't carry my preferred 98 oz and 2. is often sold out. Great product though and average price.
