"nice size feels good in the hand and gives my kittens a nice look to the coat. The only negative thing about it is the pins that make up the comb are a bit loose and rattle if you move it around too agressively and the kittens wanted to play with it. Now they are use to it."

"While at Petco I debated whether this would hurt my cat (because of the comb's metal teeth), but it turns out he loves being brushed with this! Works great!"

Love this comb for my Persian!!!

"I have a show-quality Persian, and she was used to grooming with a slicker brush since she was a kitten. I needed something better as her coat grew thicker, but she is sensitive to other brushes. She loves this comb! I can get all the mats out with this comb while she lays there and purrs away. She doesn't like the comb around her paws or face, but the slicker works fine there. She also is sensitive if I get too close to her skin, or pull too hard. Highly recommend this for long-hair cats."

"I love this comb. I was skeptic about purchasing this because there were so many options in store. But I started using this on my persians and was totally glad I purchased this particular comb. This comb for the most part gets rid of the smaller sized matting and helps prevent matting to occur as long I use it everyday. It captures loose fur and is easy to clean the comb. The handle has a soft rubber grip thats comfy too me and the kittens enjoy being combed. If you have a long haired cat, this is a great investment for their fur :)"

Great comb for long haired cats

"I recently purchased the Finishing Touch double tooth comb. I have a very long and thick haired Himalayan cat. Since I starting using this comb his grooming sessions have been cut almost in half and he looks even better. On his body I used to start with a pin brush, followed with a single length wide tooth combed, next a medium tooth comb in many areas and lastly a flea comb and his feet and face. My cat is patient and well behaved, but by the occasional squirms and flinches it was obvious the grooming wasn’t always comfortable. Now I use just the double toothed comb almost entirely on his body. The first time I used it he laid so still that I stopped several times to see if he was okay. It works good for long hair and is well made and designed. The soft handle and finger grips makes it very comfortable to use. My cat now looks forward to his grooming sessions and I spend the saved time playing with him."
