Unbelievable for Picky Eaters

"I wrote a post about my Isabelle and how she tried 20 different dry dog foods and she liked 2 or 3 for a day, and then went on a hunger strike. We found a dry that she now eats, but not enough to free feed. On the request of a breeder friend, she recommended I try a tiny food roll. My Isabelle gobbled it up. I have three Biewers and all three GOBBLED. It's unbelievable how much they like this food roll. It's not messy, has no offensive odor... NO MORE CANNED FOOD... and although my goal is 100% free feeding, I let the three share a small roll in the evening for some added daily colories. I am going to buy the large roll and grate it into a container and just have it on hand and ready... plus I now have a great way to sprinkle their daily intake of Cosequin. life is good.. i hate canned food! LOL"

"I have tried just about every high quality food out there - and my dogs finally decided they liked this one! It's convenient to take with you, it's not messy, it has a great smell and consistency. They have had no digestive upsets. It also makes a great training or anytime treat."

"That's what my dogs are thinking when they eat this!!! I can tell. My finicky eater Soliel loves them sometimes she eats the chunks I give them and none of her dry food. But oh well at least she's eating something nutrious. I also work at PetCo and I recommend these to my customers who have finicky eaters also. Most of my customers come back and say how much there dogs loved them. They also say I'm glad you recommend these to me. I say they are all natural with very limited ingredients in them like just turkey and rice and that's pretty much about it."

"Once again, my picky toy poodle wouldn't eat this at all. So don't take my food reviews into consideration unless you have a picky eater as well. I'm sure most dogs would love to eat this, I even thought it smelled good! It didn't smell like dog food at all!! I thought she'd love it, but once again she wouldn't even try it. But I'll tell you what my sister's dogs just love me!! THe get all this stuff we try that she won't eat!!"

"Best treat ever! Lasts forever when cut up into little pieces.
Excellent for training, very healthy. My dog has allergies, so I feed the Lamb version, and it's excellent for her.
I would HIGHLY recommend this product!"

"My terriers like the turkey, lamb, and beef rolls. The turkey seemed especially easy to shred. We learned about the dog food rolls by watchint our trainer. Our dogs are usually shy and stay away from strangers, but they quickly became friends with our trainer when she offered these (diced up into little cubes) as a treat. 5 stars!"

"I have an 8 year old Chihuahua who is extremely finicky! I want to feed him only healthy, natural food but meal time is always a hassle. I grabbed some of the dog food rolls just to try and he LOVES them! So far he loves both the turkey and lamb. He has no teeth, so I just cut it up small or grate it and he licks the plate clean. It's great knowing that when I put the food out, he will actually eat it and get the nutrition he needs. The only "side-effect" if you'd call it one is his water intake has drastically increased since eating this. He didn't drink a lot before, but he'll go through about 2 bowls of water now. This food probably works best if your dog will eat it combined with dry or canned food, but mine likes it all by itself!"

"Our 14 year-old golden retriever mix was losing weight rapidly. She was diagnosed with Cushing's disease and despite medication was going downhill fast. Her ribs, hips and backbone were sticking out and she was unsteady on her feet. She was starving to death. We couldn't get her interested in food. She would eat a little and then quit.We finally tried Dick Van Patten's Natural Balance Dog Food Rolls. Success! By Christmas we had our best present ever. Chelsea was gaining weight! She's now running around like crazy and back to her old self."

"Our granddog, Bear the Beagle was living in a foster home and was adopted when he was about 2 years old by our son. He is super smart and we are so lucky to have him! He loves this Turkey Rice roll by Dick Van Patten Natural Balance. When he gets dry dog food, he tips over the bowl and wants the Turkey roll instead! He's just like Snoopy the cartoon character. This food was recommended to us by a friend who has dogs in agility competitions. The food is all natural and can be fed to our dogs with confidence that they are eating good, healthy food."

"Whether you are providing DVPs Natural Balance Dog Food Rolls (any flavor) as a meal or as a treat, I am assured that proper nutrition is on my side. The ability to break this product down into miniscule pieces are a plus when treating those of us with "food driven" pets (I say pets because this is a wonderful reward for cats and small caged animals as well !!!). I always have two 4lb rolls on hand in my freezer as an Emergency Disaster supply for my household pets - because being SAFE is being PREPARED !!!!!!!! and this product keeps 100% for up to one year in the freezer. Great Quality food in a convenient storage shape"

"We always love to shop at PetCo. (Gizmo, Buster and Harley). One day when we were participating at our local Pet Co- Fall Fashion Show- The staff was so kind to be handing out small treats for the doggie contestants. They had a tray of Dick Van Patten's Turkey roll for all to try. I knew then that my boy's loved it and we went home with a small roll that day. Knowing how healthy a treat it truely is, has helped in my decision to make this a product we have at home all the time. They love the fact that it's like getting a "treat" but I can give it to them any time. Not just "special occasions".

"My dogs will do anything for the smallest nibble of this treat. I have used it as a reward for a job well done as well as a healthy snack, and have given rolls to friends as gifts for their pets as well. I have yet to meet the dog who does not absolutely love this food! Besides being tasty, I have confidence that the ingredients are healthy and digestible. It has been a staple since I discovered this item 3 years ago, it travels well, and stores easily in the refrigerator."

"i have a saluki mix who runs like the wind and is, in all noted instances, positively tireless! she's also impossible to put weight on, and not the easiest to persuade to eat. however, i've found something to "seduce" her to her bowl -- this product, blended w/a bit of homemade yogurt over her kibbles and voila! gone. i can give her something to make sure she has her dental chewing down, and something that pleases her olfactory enough to support an appetite! that's a winning formula for her. and what a coat! when people touch cleo they just gasp, she's so soft and she shines like spun gold."
