"I used to carry a flashlight, which was hard to manage when picking up waste and hanging onto a leash. Now my dog carries the light and things are much easier. I've only had the product for 3 days and have already avoided some other dog's waste in the middle of the sidewalk thanks to the puplight!!"

"I purchased 2 of these pup lights. One for a toy poodle and another for a Shiba Inu. The PupLight is light weight and convenient for both dogs. I am so happy with the purchase; I'm going to purchase more as Christmas gifts for the extended pet family!"

"This is the second "Pup Llght" that I have purchased. I left the first one at my brother's house when I went for a visit. I had to buy another pup light because it's so great in the wee hours of the morning and excllent for our summer night walks, that I can't go without it! I think that that everyone that has a dog should buy a "Pup Light" for their dog's safety, on those night walks. Come on and Light them up (the dogs) for safety!"

"Neighbors of mine got this as a Christmas gift and I just had to have one too. I bought 2 of these pup lights for two mostly black dogs. One is for my dog, we walk our neighborhood everyday in the early morning and at night. It's for her and my safety so cars can see us. It's great b/c I no longer have to carry a flashlight. I bought one for my boyfriend's dog too for when she's out in the yard, so he can see he from the house and know where she is. they provide enough light and the dogs don't mind wearing them. Great invention!"

"I have a all black lab and it was very very hard to see him at night. So I saw this on line at PetCo and thought I would try it. Not only is it the best thing I have bought, I'm buying a second one for his walking collar!!
Even my neighbor was driving down the street and stopped to make a comment that he could see that Teddy (my dog) was walking outside because he could see the light from down the street!!"

"We love the light, but it kept falling apart. First the light fell off so I duck taped it. Then the collar ripped so I stitched and re-inforced it. Finally, the switch broke. The next one I buy, I will do all these things first.

"I purchased the lights because we have a black lab that is nearly impossible to see even in the shade. They love to take a run up and down our dead-end street in the evening when my husband gets home and having the light makes it possible for us to keep track of where she is. We also use them on the dogs when we go to mexico to visit my dad and take them out to the beach in the evening. The only "problem" we've had is that our labs are very playful and try to get the lights off of each other."

"We purchased the Pup Light because we take our dog on long walks at night when it's cooler. Our puppy weighs 10 lbs but this would really work any sized dog as the package says from 5lbs and up. He lights up our way and we get a lot of positive comments while we're out and about. Cars actually slow down to figure out what he's wearing, which means they definately see us. This has saved us from stepping off curbs, avoiding unlevel ground and holes as well as saving the soles of our shoes from being, um, soiled by things left behind from other pets. He is not bothered by it at all and the stretch collar does not mat his hair. It sits right on his chest and he trots as if it's nothing. This is really a great purchase for the price, quality and it's practical use! P.S. Don't look directly into the lights! You'll see the 3 small LED imprints for a long time after!!! Enjoy!"

For me, a little TOO much light

"I run with my dog at 5 am in the woods, and needed a light for her, in case she darted off after an animal. The product does exactly what it says, and throws off a great deal of light. I like how you can angle it downwards, that's a plus. However, for me, it is VERY dark where I go, and I found that this device was so bright, that my eyes wouldn't adjust to the dark, and I was having a hard time seeing.
There are 3 lights, and 3 batteries, I wish I could just light one light or two. For some reason, I would also prefer the unit to blink. A red or blue light filter would be a nice option, I'm thinking of covering the lens with red tape to see if I can tone it down a bit.
Also, this is not a small device. I have a very large Rotty, and it's fine for her, but I cannot imagine using something this size on a small dog!"

"First I would like to say that Puplight arrived quickly and in excellent condition. PupLight really makes taking a walk a pleasure. It's a tremendous safety factor. We can see and be seen very well for quite a distance. PupLight has great versatility. I even enjoy reading myself to sleep with it. A number of my friends have shown an interest in PupLight and I'm planning to buy more of them to use as gifts. I'm very pleased with PupLight!"

"I bought a puplight just last week at your store in West LA. This is a terrific product. I live in an area where there are not many street lights but with this light on my little pooch "Puma" lites up the sidewalk so brightly that I can let her wander as we walk. She prances as though she thinks she looks "cool" in her new neck gear. THANK YOU! I have been telling all my friends about this great product."

"I bought this for my German Shepherd. He and I both love it. It's easy to put on and pull off since the collar is stretchy. It lights a wide path incredibly well with a bright light and keeps both of us from falling into holes. He likes to use it to scan for cats too!"

"The bright blue tint light works great up here where it's dark most of the time; however, the adjustable collar came apart within one day of wearing it. I put the light directly on her collar and she's used to having it on her neck all day.

"I bought this for my dog as we moved from a major city to way out into the country - dirt roads, no street lights, etc country. It is great for him as he can see where he is going at night and it also enables us to see him. It uses AAA batteries, not those fancy round batteries, which are easily changed. I would HIGHLY recommend Pup Light!"

"Its nice to have the advantages of a flashlight at night while not actually having to hold it yourself. I just bought this product and its great. It is easy to put on and take off and it doesn't bother my dog at all. I feel safer knowing that my dog and I are more visible to cars when we are out in the middle of the night."

"Easy to get on and off your dog's neck, and easy to turn the light on and off. The PupLight collar is for holding the light on the dog's neck; you will want to keep your dog's regular collar on and attach your dog's leash to your dog's regular collar as usual. Your dog is easily seen by cars, important when crossing the street and driveways. The ground is lit up very well, so you can see what's there (maybe helpful in pooper scooper duty!). The light does not shine in the dog's eyes because it is below the chin and points downward."

What a fantastic product!

"I received one of these as a gift for my dog JJ. It is the best thing ever! He feels quite "bright" on his walks at night and we get stopped by people all the time asking where we got it. Last night, even though JJ was on his leash and I was walking him, he was near the street and a car stopped a half-block away to make sure he didn't run in front of him because they saw the light and didn't see me. Another neighbor said they wished they had one a couple of nights earlier when their dog got loose and they couldn't find him! It truly is a marvelous product. I'd recommend it to anyone who has to walk their dog at night."
