skunk smell gone
Date: November 18, 2009
"Had read some bad reviews of this product, but tried it anyway. VERY pleased! Product is granular-not powder that many dogs HATE! She stood and let me rub it thoroughly into her fur-even her belly. After 5 minutes I brushed granules off with my hands- NO MORE SKUNK! Granules did not dissolve or disappear so I could see where they had fallen and sweep them into the yard. Caveat! this skunk smell had been treated with another product which didn't do the job, so I'm not sure whether or this product would handle fresh skunk. Hope to never find out!"

Absolutely Works for Skunk Odor
Date: May 18, 2009
"My dog was sprayed at about 3AM. The next morning, I bought every skunk odor removal product I could find in the pet stores. The side of our house and some of the outdoor patio and garden areas were the worst, and about half our house reeked of skunk. I shook this product in those areas, and the odor was completely gone in a few hours!
For on-the-dog use, the only product that worked was Pure Ayre Pet Refresher, which can be applied directly to the skin. I had bathed the dog for about 1 hour after the incident, and her face still retained odor. I took her to a groomer in the morning, who bathed her another 6 times and used skunk removal shampoo. Her nose and face still had some residual odor. The Pure Ayer removed it instantly.

Clear the air skunk remover
Date: October 20, 2006
"This product works excellent. My lab was sprayed by a skunk at 3:00 am which I didnt realize until she was in the house sitting on the leather couch. The cushion smelled awful and it did not detach. I went online to look for any products that I might be able to use as the alternative was to throw the fairly new leather couch away. I found the Clear the air website, read some reviews and looked for a local retailer. I went to Petco and purchased the clear the air skunk remover granules. I put the granules on the cushion and let them sit over night. I vacummed them up the next day and the smell was almost completely gone. I put a second dose on the next day and by the next morning there was no skunk smell at all. It worked like nothing I could have ever imagined. I have an extra canister on hand just in case !"
