"We rescued 2 dogs a Shitzu and a Lasa from the pound. They gave us Science Diet. The dogs would not eat it. We tried a few other recommended foods, but they could take it or leave it. I was at Petco with the dogs and talked with a knowledgable person who recommended Solid Gold Wee Bits. I also bought Solid Gold canned Chicken, Liver, Brown Rice and Barley. The dogs know when it is time to eat and let us know it. Their coats are beautiful and they are very healthy."

"When I adopted my small 5lb Maltese I was given a well known Puppy food to feed him. However he barely ate anything for the first week or so. I decided to try another well known brand but that too failed.Finally I came across an article about your food The Pet Gazette magazine and I was impressed by the food contents and purity,so I gave it a try.
Well it worked like magic.My little Maltese cannot wait to eat his meals.He is full of pep and energy.Ita a great product."

"We adopted a little Chihuahua and started him on this food, and at the same time switched our other white Chihuahua from Science Diet to this as well. They both love it and won't touch Science Diet anymore. Now if my local store would just carry the 15lbs bag and not just the 4lbs bag!"

"My Chihuahua Roxie LOVES this dog food. Ever since she started eating it her coat is much better. It is longer and softer and she doesn't shed as often. I think the dog food smells HORRIBLE it is the worst thing I have smelled but she loves it. I will recommend this to anyone."

"I went to my local Petco store and talked with Christopher that works there. I was looking for a food that my picking Tiny Toy Poodle Autumn will eat. He recommend this and said that his own dogs eat this brand and love it. I feed her this food mixed with a little spoon full of the wet food Solid Gold Turkey, Ocean Fish, Carrots & Sweet Potatoes. Autumn has never been the dog to eat all her food at one time but this food she eats every bit morning and night!! I would give this 10 paws if I could!!!"

"After reviewing a lot of information about dog food I decided to go with Solid Gold. It contains only pure and good ingredients and is a local company (San Diego). The food is not greasy like Royal Canin and does not contain grains and fillers like most commercial food. Although Bella is a puppy the Solid Gold website FAQ states that the Wee Bits is recommended for small breed puppies. She loves it!"

"Finding a suitable and healthy dry food for small dogs, like my Maltese and Yorkie was really a challenge. We have used the Solid Gold Just A Wee Bit for about six months, and my dogs always look forward to meal time! They are healthy, in good coat, and there are no harmful ingrediants in this food."

"Our wire fox terrier has oily, sensitive skin and we had been searching for a good dog food, without alot of additives or preservatives. We had several samples of Solid Gold and tried them - she enjoyed all of the samples! We bought a bag of the Solid Gold lamb and rice formula and also the beef and barley formula - then we discovered the Wee Bit - she absolutely loves it! And her skin and fur has never looked or felt better! In fact, when we switched to the Wee Bit, we mixed it with her lamb and rice and she picked the Wee Bits out to eat first! We have tried other dog food brands but the Solid Gold Wee Bit has been the very best we could find - guess you could say it feeds the "wild side" of our wire fox terrier! :o)"

"My mom gave us their 11 month old shih tzu. She was eating pro plan and once we brought her home she wouldn't eat. She was getting really skinny and we were starting to get worried. We weren't sure what to change her food to. A store employee suggested the solid gold brand, and she just loves it. We have to put her food up and only feed her 3 times a day cause she pigs out on it. We are about to get another pup in 2 weeks and we are definately going to feed him this brand. I would recommend this food to anyone with a dog."

had our dogs on cheap food for a long time. It caused a few different
problems with 3 of our dogs (Before the other 2 joined our family) but
the worst was my 9 year old Pekingese/Pomeranian's hot spots. She had
them all over her back and would scratch them till they bled. When we
switched them to Solid Gold the problems disapeared including her
authritis in her hips! Before, she couldn't walk but a few houses up
and back and now she doesn't want to come in even if we've walked a
mile! Solid Gold has done an amazing job for my fur kids. She's a lot
healthier, no longer limps/is in pain and no longer has to take
medications for her authritis. I've had her since she was 5 weeks old
(She was a stray) and hope to have her for a long time."

What a great dog food

"When I got my lil Schnauzer, black, I did not want to feed him the usual food because dogs were having so much trouble with grain from China. So as I was looking for a good dog food, a sales person at PetCo suggested I try Wee Bit. When I saw the ingrediants and how healthy they were for health maintance I decided to give it a try. Well, Harley loved it and in a short time his coat became so shiny and soft the groomer asked me what food I was feeding him. When I told her Wee Bit she nodded her head in agreement. People are always telling me how beautiful his coat is and how much energy he has. I wouldn't feed him anything else."

"I have 2 Silky Terriers that I have had on Eukanuba for many years. My female suffers from dry skin and itches quite a bit in the warm months. Recently got a baby Bulldog and have him in puppy training at my local PetCo. The trainer suggested we try Solid Gold because she might be suffering from allergies and not dry skin.
The dogs have been on it for about 2 weeks now and I am already noticing a big difference in her chewing/itching. I'm told the Omega 3 oils from the Salmon Meal will help their coats and skin. My dogs LOVE salmon. Even the Bulldog puppy loves it.
I like that it is made with all natural ingredients and has no wheat, soybeans, corn, aminal fat, sugar, by-products Salt or artificial preservatives. Most of their bags are vacuum sealed for freshness. I've read alot of dogs allergies are related to wheat or corn.
I put the Bulldog pup on Solid Gold Hundchen Flocken Puppy Food and he loves it.
I'm glad PetCo carries this brand because it seems to be very good!"

"I have 3 small dogs. All 3 are picky eaters. When I first got this they all 3 jumped and started eating like mad. They love it. My slightly chubby dogs have lost a little weight. My vet says i is normal when someone switches to this food. My tiny really picky eater actual gained 4 ounces. (not much but she is 4 pounds) Finally I don't have to coax and hand feed her. She goes and eats on her own. My 8 yr old now runs around like a pup. He has arthritis and had gotten where he slept all day. Now once or twice a day at least he runs around and plays with the other dogs. he had not done this in a couple of ys. i love this food."

"This is one food that my mini dachshund & I agree on. She LOVES it. She's also managed to lose a "wee bit" of weight on it, although it isn't diet food. She is satsfied with a smaller portion of this than with "lite" dog food. Only downside is that it does have a v. strong fish smell when you open the container -- courtesy of the salmon. Not lovely first thing in the morning. I should add that this is only a downside for me ....the dog has no problem whatsoever with the smell!"

"I got this for my four year old Pekingese because I wanted something all natural. As soon as I opened the bag a fishy odor came out, similiar to tropical fish flake food. I kinda knew right there and then my dog isnt going to eat this and sure enough he wont touch it. Ive tried soaking it, adding gravy etc. he practically runs from it.
My cats are taking an interest to it though. So make sure your dog likes fish before you try this one out, my dog is not a fish eater.
Too bad, it looked like a nice product, great packaging, nice small size, but way too fishy for my doggy."
