"It is much bigger then i thought it would be. My two mice like to so far, and no escapes. The wheel is silent which is good. the only thing that i dont like the the water bottle, it leaks. Other than that, they love to go up and down the tube and run on the wheel. It would probably fit three or four small mice well but anymore would be a crowd."

"Other than a few problems I love this cage and so does spunkey. The wheel was really annoying at night so i took that off and put in a silent wheel. Also my dwarf hamster had a problem getting up and down and after she fell she never went up there again and when I would put her up there she would freak out. So I just took that out. I put in one of those houses she can eat and she loves it, along with a toilet paper tube she runs in and out of. She has enough room for herself, but not for a buddy. I would recament it for something bigger than a dwarf hamster to use it to its full potental or if you only have one small critter. I'm still glad i bought it though."

"This cage is great for our new Teddy Bear hamster. The pictures and description say that it comes with the lazy look out but it does not. It comes with the loop d loop instead. I think the Lazy Look out would be better than the loop d loop. Our hamster climbes up the tube goes around once and back down. Kind of a waste.
The overall size of the cage is nice."

WHY NO PARTS?!

"This is a good cage, observation-wise and the gerbils like it BUT as I've read in other reviews, you can not order parts. The red connectors are not good quality and the tabs break. I just can't believe that they wouldn't have included 2 or 3 extra connector rings in the original set so that you can at least get your money's worth. My suggestion is that you make the rings out of metal since you have to remove them so often for cleaning. I hope PETCO reads these reviews and will make the parts available in the NEAR future!!!"

"The hex connectors started failing before the mice got in. Would never Recommend this model one Hex connector tab breaks and you can throw it away.
Stay away from it."

"This cage is the best I have ever used for hamsters! It snaps together tight for no little critter getting out and no wire bars mean no mess on your floor. The wheel is pretty quiet too. I would highly recommend this one:)"

"The parts on the side of the cage the red pieces that hold the tubs and wheel break easily and are not replaceable? ...
If they are not replaceable then the cage is no good.. the animals can get out."

"I BOUGHT THIS CAGE FOR MY HAMSTER AND SHE LOVES IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE WHEEL SHE LOVES AND SHE IS NEVER OFF. I LIKE THIS CAGE BECAUSE IT IS EASY TO CLEAN OUT AND EASY TO THE FOOD BOWL.

"I'm w/ Dear ol' Dad; looks nice from the box but is ashoddy cage. The tubes are terribly unstable unless there is only a tall straight one going from inside the cage itself.
The cage connections on the sides break almost instantly in the first use. It took me quite some time to put the stupid thing together the first time. After 2 or 3 cleanings the clips holding the lid to the base broke and are unable to hold any tubing or even a plug.
Run, don't walk away from this product."

"i got this cage from a friend and it works VERY well!! Earlier Bear loved it but 2 years later he passed away. The wheel squeked. But Bear LOVED the look out tower. But i used the look out tower as a bathroom for Bear. Great product!!!! BUY IT!!!!! We loved it!! great cleaning. but walls wanted to fall down when u take the top off."

"I got this cage when i got my first hamster. He absolutely loved it! The only problem was that he only used the bottom level to get food and water and to run on his wheel. He absolutely loved the lazy look-out and spent all of his time up there!
The only problems I had were that the wheel is a little noisy and my hamster chewed his way through the lazy look-out and we had to buy a new one.
I would defintely recommend this cage to any new hamster, gerbil, or mouse owner."

"After you spend an hour trying to get the top and bottom to connect, a task no child or adult can really do on a regular basis, the snaps finally broke. This product is NOT consumer friendly and will be a night mare for anyone who tries to clean the cage regularly. The box and packaging look awesome, but it is not a safe and secure home as it is too fragile and poorly designed. If you are concidering this item, assemble it 1st in the store, the results will have you buy a different cage. I rate it 1 paw for creative packaging and nice retail box."
