"Toy is well-made and holds up well to my two power chewers. It squeaks, rattles and honks; even when it's de-stuffed my dogs still love to play with them! Definitely worth the money."

"I have a black lab who has destoyed many toys. Any toys with squeakers don't squeak anymore within five minutes. This toy is still squeaking and making noise and is intack after two months. He absolutely loves it. Best of all you can even wash it without it falling apart. Now that's a great toy!"

"This toy has lasted the longest out of all of the toys I have gotten so far. My two Labs tear up everything and so this one has stood up to chewing and tug-of-wars for 4 months! It has started to wear down so I am getting another one so when it needs to be replaced, it's there."

Each Leg is a new toy

"My big dogs love to chew up toys. After they are shredded they get played with until they are finally thrown out, usually a week. The octapus however was great! As each leg got torn off it became a new seperate toy and hours of tug a war were enjoyed between my dogs. It has been four months now and I am down to the last leg, time to get another toy!"

"We have the small version of this - and it's the only stuffed toy that has outlasted all the others I've spent tons and tons of money on. The others get torn to shreds within a day.

"After a while I can tear up any plush toy. This one did last a while though, just no tug-o-war.
The arms, after a while tear off and expose the fuzz inside. Lasts about a month or less.
Great fun. (hump alert) I have more than one way to play with bigger toys."

"Oakley"? Puh-leeeeze!!

"Our daughter named it 'Fwappy' and I think that's a much more descriptive name than 'Oakley'. We always try to have at least one Fwappy around for our 5-year-old pit bull to play with.
Fwappy is his favorite toy. Playing tug-of-war, catch, and he likes just shaking it and having the arms flap around--hence the name! But more often than anything else, he falls asleep with the head in his mouth, sucking on it as though nursing!
You'd think a plush toy like this would last 5 minutes in a 75-pound pit bull's mouth, but he seems to understand he needs to be gentle with it, so they last several months. By the time the arms start coming off, we want to replace it anyway because no amount of washing will make it smell good again!
We buy them in quantity."

Fun for Multidog Households

"When we had just one dog, she loved this toy. With two, it's even better! Traditional snakes and tug of war ropes are good for two dog play, but the octopus design makes this even better. Our older dog will grab the octopus and bonk the younger one on the head with it until he grabs one of the legs. Then they're off! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars all around is that they tend to pull the stuffing out after about 3 months. But on a price per hour played basis, this is a great value!"
