"The rope didn't last long but the plastic was still fun. We stuffed chews inside it. We would also throw it and because of it's shape it would bounce pretty crazy directions. My dog had a blast. Not recommended for indoors though."

"My 6 month old border collie/husky mix LOVED this toy. She ran around like a crazy thing holding it by the rope and tossing it around. Only one problem...she chewed through the rope in less than a day. Then she chewed through the plastic jack. I wish this was sturdier because she was very happy tossing it around and shaking it by the rope."

"This product was home for 5 minutes and there was no rope in the center. It was here for 1 day and one of the ends was chewed off. It was here three days and another end was off. Really disgusted by this purchase. I wanted something to keep her busy and me not broke supplying chew toys. She has had it less than a week and it is ruined!"

"we were hesitant to spend this much money on a dog toy. we tried it because every other toy was being shredded. we have now had it for just under 5 months and our 1yr old German Sheppard mix has not destroyed it. she loves it. she picks it up and hucks it across the room and loves to chase it because it bounces is in all different directions. it was a great purchase for us."

Orka Jack keeps his interest up

"The dog is a rescue, so all I can say is that he is probably mostly American Pit Terrier and a very heavy chewer. He loves this toy and I like it because the plastic protrusions are large enough for me to grasp, twist out of his mouth, and get a good game of fetch going. Its irregular shape makes it bounce erratically, so it's always a surprise to see where it lands. This is the only toy I can actually get out of his mouth to throw. Otherwise, our games of fetch are pretty sorry because I throw, he fetches and won't let go. The I have to wait for him to become desperate enough to share the toy with me befoe I can throw it again."

"I bought this toy 2 days ago for a 9 month old Dauschaund. It took him about 15 minutes to chew of one of the ends. After chasing him around for about a half hour, to try and stop him from swallowing the broken pieces, I threw the toy away. I was disappointed that this product did not live up to its own expectation as stated on the package..."

She Went Nuts for This!

"We have a 3mo old Pit Bull/Weimeraner mix puppy. She won't go after a ball and bring it back. Hard to get her to like something to tire her out. This did it! She went nuts for it and ran to get it everytime I threw it. She then promptly passed out in her cage. Ahhh peace and quiet!"

"My lab puppy started ripping off pieces of plastic within an hour of giving it to her. And within a few days she had the rope out and I had to throw it away. The rubber/plastic part is way too soft for a bigger dog. Stick with Kong products, they are SO much more durable!"

"I have a 5 month old rottweiler pup, who is a strong chewer. She has destroyed several "durable" products in a matter of hours. However, so far this one is holding up and she really likes it. The rope did come out once, but we were able to tie it back. We play tug-o-war and she uses it as her main chew toy and enjoys bouncing it around and chasing it.
It's so strange the reviews are either great or terrible. Maybe there was a bad batch??? But we like it."

"I am always looking for something new and something that will last, most toys my dog will destroy in less than ten minutes. This one he really loves he carries it everywhere. He loves how it bounces all over the place. It is definitely not suited for big dogs. On a trip to my inlaws their lab took a chunck off of it. But my dog loves it no matter what. It was a really good buy."

"We purchased an Orka Jack for our 6 year old male labrador retriever. He played with it for sever hours under our supervision. Despite hard chewing the toy showed no damage. Within five minutes of our last check of the toy it came apart. The missing piece was the size of one arm of the Jack. On close examination I was able to pull off another arm where it was thinner to allow for gluing.
I would not purchase this toy."

"Our 4 month old bully pup is a very powerful chewer and this did not stand up to his bite. It's still intact after a week of intermittent use but he's already made serious bite grooves on the ends. He also didn't take to it right away, but when he finally did it was the rope that attracted him first."

"I noticed one of the reviewers below said that her dog destroyed the blue part so she just kept the rope for her dog to play with, but I had the opposite experience with my dogs! My 2 dogs were able to shred the rope to bits within a day, but the blue part has held up completely. Even with the rope gone, it's still fun for them and you can stuff treats into the hollow parts."

"EVERYTHING we buy for our 8 mo. German Shep is destroyed within hours. We've had this for nearly 5 months and the only thing that's suffered is the rope. She loves the crazy bouncing and, despite some wild throws, the rubber is soft enough that it hasn't broken anything yet. I'm ordering another one for the pup's sister, before she ruins any more furniture at my in-laws' house."

"We have a small dachshund who loves to chew things. We've been searching for a toy that he won't chew up and swallow. Since this product claimed that it was for tough chewers I decided to purchase it. My fiancee had to take it away from our pup today (I just purchased it yesterday) because he had already begun to chew off the ends of the blue part and had eaten them. I finally just decided to remove the blue part and kept the rope for him to play with."
