The Best!

"Are you kidding? The first day I brought my cat home from the shelter they had given me one of these. I set it out and she went RIGHT for it. I have NEVER had a problem with her scratching furniture. She loves the corrugated cardboard and its roughness - seems to be just the thing for her. I bought her an expensive sisal scratcher and she has totally ignored it in favor of this product. When it ain't broke don't fix it! I really recommend this product."

"Because of the flat design, I can hide this around the living room around the furniture and it prevents all 3 cats from scratching on it. I have some inclined ones from other companies, but those I have to have sitting out due to their shape and size. This is a great product for making me NOT look like the cat lady. :)"

"My cat loves this and loves to sit on it too. True it doesn't last forever and the little shavings do end up everywhere, but she doesn't touch the rope or the carpeted scratchers... so this is the only other method I've tried and works."

"My cats love these. We wrapped one for them and put it under the Christmas tree. As soon as we started to tear the wrapping paper the cats were all over it. Our cats love to sit on theirs as much as they like scratching them."

Buy the other brand, not this one

"I have two other brands in my home besides this one. The other two are holding up well, and i can replace the cardboard on the inclined one, (which petco also sells). Big mama's board falls apart far too easily, and tiny pieces end up all over the carpet, or in my case, my kittens belly! Don't waste your money, anyone of the other brands will be better. I have three cats, i know. My kitty lounger is the most durable. My inclined scratcher is the best because i can replace the boards."

My Cats Love It!

"I wish I had this years ago! All three of my cats love Big Mama's Scratchy Box. They scratch on it and just lay on top of it as well. For some reason, they prefer the horizontal cardboard scratching posts (vs. the angled ones like the Alpine Scratcher), and the width of this box is perfect for an average size cat. I haven't had any problems with the quality or construction. The first one I bought lasted about 6 weeks with regular use by three cats."

my furniture loves it

"I wish I had these a year ago because since I got one, my cat has scratched the box and not my furniture. They don't last forever, but that's becase they get used and that's the whole point! I have one of those rope covered posts, but it got ignored. "

"I just got Bid mama's Scratchy Box, the larger one. In 5 minutes my 12 pound cat pulled it all apart because it is made in 2 pieces and not welded together in the middle. I am very disappointed. I usually love whatever you sell."
