"My hamster Oreo needed something to chew on beside her cage, and this was great! She shredded it, devoured the treat (She is a pig), and begged for more. However, my dwarves, who aren't big chewers completely ignored them. Unless I stuffed them with toilet paper. Man, my rodents are weird."

"I was looking for some fun way toys that involve treats for my rat; yes a rat. I found out that the Kaytee Munchables Shred-a-box for hamsters and gerbils is okay for rats. So, I bought them and gave a box to my rat. She tore the box to shreds leaving cardboard all over my floor :) and then dragged the treat into her house. The treat lasted her about 3 days, and it was finished. This is a great toy, and if you need to give your rat something to do I would recommend this."

"My hamster didn't play much with his other toys. he thought they were boring. I looked around petco for great hamster toys when i found this in the food area. When i gave one of these to my hamster she didn't wait to figure out what it was she just bit into it and was determined for the treat hidden inside. A great purchase! A Must Have!!!

"My hamster, Cody, was getting bored with his toys. I couldn't find anything he really liked to do besides run in his wheel and chew the bars of his cage (a highly annoying habit). I wanted to get him excited about something. I purchased two new treats/toys. He wasn't really interested in the first one I tried. But when I put one of these boxes in his cage...he went nuts! It was so much fun watching him tear into it. Now, every time I put one in, he knows exactly what it is and he gets so excited. I only give him one every week or two because I don't want it to affect his diet (too many seeds could cause a hamster to get very sick). I put one in his freshly cleaned cage so he can restock his food stores. I absolutely recommend this product to anyone who wants to give their pet a special treat. (A quick note: this product may not work as well for pets who get seeds in their regular diet. I feed Cody Kaytee Forti-Diet -- which is solely a pellet food -- and strictly regulate his treats so when he does get them, they are truly a treat.)"
