"This product really helps to keep the hay off of the floor of my bunny's cage. However, it's pretty tough to get the hay in it in a way that let's her get to it. Sometimes I have to take it out and rearrange the hay."

"Hey this is a great product! I have one for my guinea pig, and it is really handy. Before I got one, I just set the hay on the ground but it got all dirty and trampled. So I got this and it keeps it all clean and fresh. The only problem is that the bars are really close together and my guinea pig sometimes has trouble getting her little nose in there to get the hay."

"I bought 4 of these, one for each rabbit. They didn't even last a month! The hooks that hold them to the top of the cage broke off very quickly. The rabbits had trouble pulling the hay out and pulled on the feeder which didn't help. The bars are too close together for the hay to get out easily. Don't waste your money!"

"This does not hold the hay well. I was hoping this would keep bunches of hay from falling to the floor, but no go. It does sometimes unhooks from the cage bars if bunny bumps it hard enough."

"This hay buffet is not good at all! I have two girl guinea pigs, and the day I brought it home, they broke it! I resorted to hanging it to where it sticks out over the cage instead of hanging it on the side."

"I bought this product and it just fell off the side of the cage, not only that, but the lid comes off and the bars are to close for the animal to eat out of. I didn't want to buy a new one so I tied it on the cage with wire and cut every other bar off. You still waste some hay but not very much and my rabbits can get to the hay easily now. The lid isn't that big of a problem for me so I just leave it off."

"Once I bought this product I was thrilled because I could
never find a hay despencer that really worked well. When I put this product in my rabbits cage the top broke off. Not only that , but the hay falls through the bottom too easily. And when that happens the hay goes
eveywhere! My rabbit cant even get to the hay because
the plastic bars on the product are just too close together! Instead of wasting money , I would just put
the hay in a pile on the cage floor."

"I recently adopted 3 baby guinea pig brothers. I bought this, thinking that it would provide a way for the boys to eat their hay without it taking up valuable cage floor space, and being a way for the hay to stay cleaner. I am really disapointed in it, because it doesn't stay on the side of the cage well, and the boys eventually end up with it on their heads. It is also cheaply made of plastic, so they constantly chew on it.
Do not buy this product."

"I have a very messy rabbit. When he was younger he would take hay and spred it into his litter box and in his water dish. The hay Buffet helped so that I didn't have to throw away as much hay."

"I like the idea of this but unless i put my finger inbetween each bar and pull some hay out for him to get it, he has a hard time getting it. he likes trying though! i just quite honestly quit using because it was too much of a pain. I'm a little disappointed that i wasted my money."

"I have two guinea pigs that love their hay. Even so, they found this hay rack very challenging as the bars were to close together to effectively pull out the hay. Also, unlike other hay racks, the sides are completely solid so it is hard to shove long chunks of hay in it. Bottom line: Guinea pig faces are just too fat for this product."
