Not a good purchase

"I ordered the product online and it was not what I expected. I thought it would be more of a tape cord. The cord is well, a thin cord, and it can easily get tangled with your pet, objects and others. Also, it is difficult to maneuver. It has a locking and unlocking mechanism to stop the cord from pulling, so it takes a lot of practice to remember to lock and unlock and if your pet quickly takes off OH MY..! tough luck. I didn't risk it. I practiced with it in my backyard first before I took my pooch on a walk and figured out it wouldn't work for me. I have a poodle 11lbs in training, so I decided to go to the store and exchange it for a 6ft 1" nylon leash. The exchange was awesome, no problems returning or exchanging at the store. Oh, and definitely, don't try using this item with a tether. A regular leash works better with both a collar and tether."
