"This litter box does help keep down the mess. Start using it as soon as your cat is big enough to climb in and out of it, though. My two younger male cats use it but the two older females won't try it because they don't like any changes in their lives. I recommend it."

"I use mine to feed my cat. The dogs always eat the cat's food if they can, with this the dogs can't reach in to eat her food. It works great like this! Try it"

"I am admazed at how well this product works! My two cats took to the Cleavercat right away. We have two one in the bathroom and one in an office - the one in the bathroom is between a wall and the sink cabinet so it makes the cats jump out and on to the top of the box, very little litter winds up on the floor. In the office it is free standing and sometimes the cats jump right out of the box to the floor and that leads to more litter outside the box than the one in the bathroom. I do love how they can dig, or urniate up the sides of the box and none of that mess winds up outside the box."

"I was very skeptical when I first saw this product over 1 year ago because I wasn't sure if my cats were going to accept it. Well, I finally gave it a shot since reading all the great reviews. I'm very glad I did. It definitely eliminated about 80% to 90% of litter tracking. And the odor? Forget about it. Hardly any smell comes from it. It took my 2 cats 2 days to finally use it with the lid on. I actually regret that it took me so long to get one!"

"This litterbox is unnecessarily expensive as it is only a storage bin with modified lid but so ingenious. It works. I purchased one for the boyfriend whose kitty was too long and hit the floor out the end of the old box and sent one to each of my adult chldren. A complete success and MAJOR improvement for all. It is one of those products that makes you think. . . why didn't I think of that :-)"

Great Litter Box

"Two of my friends (one in Paris and one in California) use this box so I had to try it too. After spending a day training my 15 year old cat to use the box, I love it. It definitely cuts down on the amount of stray litter significantly, especially since my cat loved to scratch litter out of her previous front entry box. My only complaint is the litter liners. They have creases at the ends where it is hard to scoop clumped litter. I have to lift the liner up to pop out the clumps and then scoop them up. A fully flat liner without crevasses and molded to the shape of the box would solve this problem. Now if I can just solve that cat hair everywhere problem..."

"I had seen this product on the web site many times, but didn't think that it would be worth the money. My dog would not stay out of the litter box so I decided that it would be worth a shot. I'm so glad that I did, my dog has not been able to get in the litter box since, and the cat doesn't seem to mind it!"

"I love the clevercat litterbox we have had it for about 3 weeks. We purchased it to keep the dogs out of the litterbox expecally the dalmation. It has worked better than I ever thought I only purchased one at the time cause I didn't think it would probably keep my smart dalmation out. Now I am looking to buy another one for my bedroom or in the house somewhere. It also helps keep the order down as one of our cats dosn't cover their mess verywell. It is a great product that really keeps the dogs out no matter how many times they try."

"Absolutely the best, I have three cats, so I set up two boxes right next to each other. I use so much less litter, and it doesn't smell like I have boxes in the house at all. The only down side, is that one of our cats loves it so much he tries to sleep in there."

"And it works good too! I purchased this litter box to keep my cat from scattering his litter all over the place. He feels he has to dig to China whenever he finishes his business. I ended up going through a large bag of litter a week because I had to keep refilling the box. Not to mention my dog has a fascination with urinating in the litter box which annoys the cat to the point he refuses to use the box until I clean it again. This box has solved both of those problems for me. The high walls keep the litter in the box instead of on the floor. My cat can dig to China and back as much as he wants. The dog still trys to to his business in the box, but just can not lift his leg high enough to get in the entrance (and cleaning the vinyl floor is much easier and cheaper then cleaning the box everyday). All in all I would recommend this box to anyone who has multiple pets."

"I love the top entry. I think it is easier for my bigger cat (15 pds), more room for him to stick his head out the hole while he is doing his thing.
It is not 100% scatter proof, but the best I have seen. Nearly scatter proof."

"Best litter box made! Cats have to jump on the grooved lid to get out and most of the litter comes off their paws so you may not even choose to have a mat. It's deep for big cats and lots of litter, it seems to keep the smell in more, litter does not seem to stick to it, it's private for them, it's easy to clean, it solves the problem of litter getting scratched out of it and flying evrywhere into your room when they bury their remains and contains the urine of horizontal sprayers best."

"I was SO skeptical when I bought this. My cat is verrry shy and picky, so I thought she would reject it and go to the bathroom in a corner instead. I bought it so that the ferret would stop rooting around in my cat's litter.
My cat actually goes in it no problem!!! And no leaks or drips anywhere. Wonderful!!!"

"We have four cats, so we need multiple litter boxes. This is a great space-saving design as you can set them up right next to each other. All of our cats learned to use this within a day - even our big momma had no problem squeezing in there. It is great for cats who love to urinate in the corner of the box - no more leaking out the side. It is also perfect for the diggers - no more litter flying out of the opening. It is very easy to scoop the litter out & I love how easily a liner stays in place. I tossed my Booda domes out for this one."

"..my cats won't use it. I've had this for about 6 weeks and my cats still won't get into it even with the top off. Of course, I still have two other litter boxes available so maybe I just need to learn how to train cats. It's a nice size."

Perfect Litter Box for Those with Dogs

"I was skeptical about purchasing this litter box. After I read the reviews, I gave it a shot. My cats loved it! They prefer this box over their old one. I think they like climbing in and out of it and it is more spacious. Plus it gives them a little privacy ;) Also helps to keep the litter in the box rather than on the floor!
Great purchase for any animal owner whose dog likes to poke inside the cat box for a snack!"
