"I bought this cage for my pet rats and it is great! Easy to assemble, pretty good quality, and a fun toy. However, if you plan on getting more than one rat, I would advise you to get a bigger cage. One problem I had was that when I opened the soft-sorbent bedding, there were two dead bugs in it. (yuck) An overall great product, go ahead and buy it!"

"I'm moving and so I "downsized" from the original Large size to this medium sized one. I love it! In order to make this cage piggy approved moving some things was easy to do. I popped off the ramp and just left shelf to act a little shelter for my boy to sleep under. I didn't use the food dish and instead added a "gravity bin feeder" which is perfect for piggies. I hung up the toy in the back and that left enough floor space for my guy to walk around. He loves hiding under the shelf and will stick his head through the hole to explore. It's smaller than he's used to, but he's been in it for 2 weeks now and he's completly settled in. This is a great size for moving around, traveling and small apartments. The plastic is tough and sterdy and seems like it can take a punch. I bought this in a different store so mine is purple and not blue, but I've seen the blue and its very attractive. Great for a boy's room, or even a boy pet. The added supplies are a must for beginners--that water bottle is the only brand I use! The food dish could be better, but they are super cheap to replace online. Toys, bedding and food of course are needed. I've heard some complaints from animals chewing the cage, but the most my piggy ever does is chew on the wires...but he has never caused any damage. This cage is really hardy! I love it!"

Great Beginner Cage!

"I purched this cage a few years ago for my two pet rats (who are now in the rat manor). The cage is very roomy and easy to clean. The accessories are all very useful and necessary. My rats chewed through the cage, though. Not the cages fault, I didn't provide enough toys. If you do purchase this kit (I HIGHLY recommend it), make sure to provide tons of toys and places to hide. The cage is O.K. for 2 rats, but better for just one. If you have 2 large rats or more than 2 rats, purchase a larger cage."

Nice cages

"It took an hour to find the missing peice for the water bottle, it's inside. And the cage was falling apart, I had to tighten all the peices.
I got this cage for my two rats, who chewed on the parts holding the cage together, as long as I pick it up from the bottom it's ok. My rats had to be separated due to constant fighting. I know have two of the cages and they are just the right size for one adult rat or even two."
