"Finally! A good nail clipper that does exactly what it promised. Very sharp, giving a good clean cut. The nail guard is a welcome bonus... no more worries about cutting too short. What used to be a stressful chore for both my dogs and myself is now simple and easy."

Not suited for thick nails

"This product dulls incredibly fast on thick nails. I have a great dane and I do not recommend these to any large dog owner. They cut very well the first time I got them (3 weeks ago), but the blade has been getting dull and jagged- crushing/cracking my dogs nails instead of cutting them. It has only withstood 3 trimming sessions.
If you have a large breed dog I would look into a better investment."

"I have 2 boston terries and I have other clippers that don't clip their nails clean off, I would have to gently pull off the remainder of the nail clipping. With these nail clippers the nail clips right off very smoothly and the clip guard is great b/c the clippings don't fly off everywhere. Great buy!"

"My dog- who is normally scared of just about everything- was not intimidated by this product at all! The small size led to incredibly easy nail trimmings- and with the cutting guard, I never cut too much!

"I have a runt of a shih tzu and I was very nervous to get clippers for me to do her nails my self. This product was very easy to use.
I soaked her feet in a 3-4 inch warm water bath and it made her nails soft. The clippers were easy to handle and I was done in no time."

"I really like these clippers! I use them on my minpin, who is not a fan of getting his nails trimmed. With these clippers he seems to do better then with the clippers I had previosuly been using. I find that the handles are kinda small so it's harder to hold and get your hand around them really securely, but not too bad."

"i bought another pair from petco that seemed to twist when i clipped his nails causing him to be very squirmy. These are much better and i love them! Got the small clippers for my westie and now nail clipping time is not a chore."

"indeed, they do not lie. I am a grooming assistant at a Louisiana PetCo, and the only nail clipper we use is this! its open end allows more control over where you clip. always keep a bottle of kwik stop with you when you clip your pet's nails. NEVER clip without it."
