"I adopted an Australian Cattle Dog mix puppy three months ago (she was eight weeks old). Her behavior was ok for the first four weeks, but then she became a terror puppy: playful, but still painful, biting at hands and faces constantly, non-stop barking, never left my older dog alone and any other type of bad behavior you can probably think of. I tried newspaper spanking, less kennel time, slight hand pops and nothing worked. I decided to try a "shock" collar as a last resort. For those of you out there that may believe this is an inhumane product, I used to agree with you. However, I tried the product on myself before I put it on my puppy, and it was not painful only uncomfortable. I have had the product for three days and have an almost non biting puppy. This product is a life-saver. I now have a puppy that I can pet without being bit.
Also, if you buy this product and it doesn't seem to be working great take the battery compartment off of the remote and there is are adjustment switches for higher power for the bigger dogs (or more stubborn). Good Luck!!"
