"This collar constantly has to be paired with remote and most of the time does not work . This collar is much to exspensive to have this much trouble, dont purchase."

Stopped working after a few months

"Product worked fine for the first few months and then progressivly got worse. We like to have it on in case she needs a reminder but it won't even turn on (and yes I bought brand new batteries).. I looked into the "Lifetime Limited Warranty" but the warranty is only good for a year.. so not sure how it falls into a lifetime warranty. Dont waste the money"

"I adopted an Australian Cattle Dog mix puppy three months ago (she was eight weeks old). Her behavior was ok for the first four weeks, but then she became a terror puppy: playful, but still painful, biting at hands and faces constantly, non-stop barking, never left my older dog alone and any other type of bad behavior you can probably think of. I tried newspaper spanking, less kennel time, slight hand pops and nothing worked. I decided to try a "shock" collar as a last resort. For those of you out there that may believe this is an inhumane product, I used to agree with you. However, I tried the product on myself before I put it on my puppy, and it was not painful only uncomfortable. I have had the product for three days and have an almost non biting puppy. This product is a life-saver. I now have a puppy that I can pet without being bit.
Also, if you buy this product and it doesn't seem to be working great take the battery compartment off of the remote and there is are adjustment switches for higher power for the bigger dogs (or more stubborn). Good Luck!!"

"I strongly recommend this product. It wouldn't sync. after 4months. Be sure to keep your receipt because it's necessary for replacement. The collar is GREAT! My Minipin is well behaved. However, my collar's "shot"."

"I bought this for my dog so I could take her off the leash at park, I tried the device in the house and she didn't respond at all, I put it on the highest level and she just looked at me and layed down. I put it on the cat and the cat didn't even respond, don't waste your money it doesn't work"

Hard to Use

"I was hesitant to go this route with my new dog, but after lots of research, decided it was humane and our last resort--she will not stop chasing the cat! However, the collar does not come with the free training DVD as advertised here, so I feel I am not using it correctly at this point.
The settings are inside the transmitter so to make any adjustments, you must open the transmitter, which is difficult and requires a tool or a coin. Then once inside the switches are so small that I can barely see them and I have great vision!
I am also unsure if the dog is even feeling the stimulation. I have raised the level several times and even used the boost feature, but so far, we are having no luck. I may need to trim some of her hair to get a better contact, but perhaps I would be having more success if the training DVD were here?
I suggest looking for a different collor, one with the settings on the outside of the transmitter at the very least!"

"most people are shocked that we got a shock collar but when you need to stop a behavior quickly this is the best thing to have. I tried it on myself first and thought it would be just fine for the dog. Our dog immediatley stopped the behavior. The biggest thing was, we are builders, so she is around building materials and always had to put something in her mouth. We used the collar a few times and now she looks and thinks before she walks away from all the extra materials laying around. Now, I don't have to worry about her choking or getting sick eating things she shouldn't."

"we are still working with the collar. We had to put it up pretty high but he does pay attention. We originally got it because he has developed a habit of crossing the street. Unfortunately he now does it if we aren't paying attention!!!! But the collar and remote do work for other things as well. We are glad that we got it."

"I have used several other training collars in the past to control barking. They all work well, but I have had trouble keeping up with the remotes. They have never been with me when I needed them unexpectedly. This one is fabulous. I put it on a stretchy wrist key chain, and it stays with me all day. I also am thrilled with the on/off control. It is now easy to tell if the collar is turned on or off."

"the first thing I purchased was a fence radar collar which I did not like. I liked the fact that I could control it, I did not like the fact that to up or down the shock you have to get a screw driver and deal with small switches but other than that I love it."

"This product worked great. My dog comes in all the time I call and I never have to worry about any stray animals he might chase after if we not inside the yard. I dont even have to use the remote sometime. I put the collar on him and show him the remote and he instantly behaves. You can add on a beep noise when you use the remote or program it to beep before the shock. The bad thing is that little remote I end up loosing it which is missing right now. And you have to be careful of not getting the remote wet which i did before and it still worked but had to buy a battery every week because some how it was draining it constantly since it became wet. So i bought another complete collar and remote. I just recomend you tie the remote to someting so you wont loose when i find it i am going to put it on bracklet chain around my wrist or something."

Super Great Product

"I recently bought Zones products and were super satisfied with them. So I decided to try this product out. Well I shocked to see how fast I could solve some of my dogs problems while we were out in the park. Chasing other dogs, not coming when I call him ect. Solved it in about one hour. I am going to buy a containment fence next. These product rule!!"

"The good things about this product: Its range was very good and I was pleased with the way that it worked with my dog. The weight of the collar was reasonable.
The things that I did not like about this product: THE REMOTE. While it was compact and has the ability to be hooked to a key ring for easy access, it did not lend itself to easy adjustment for the signal. It does have a BOOST function on the side of the remote, but in order to change the signal strength you have to have a small flat screwdriver, or other device to remove the panel. Then you have to use the same item to adjust the VERY small switches. It isn?t just a dial that you can turn up or down. Each switch was assigned a number and you had to move the switch up or down to adjust it."
