"This is a nice cage and works well for my relatively calm dog. But a determined dog could easily bend the wire. The wire is a bit thin and the grid spacing is fairly wide. This cage is advertised as "Value Priced."
If you have a dog who wants to break out, then best to get Midwest Lifestages Ultima series of fold and carry crates. Ultima series are made of heavier gauge wire and grid spacing is much closer together. I own one of those cages, too.
For either product line, save the box. I cut the cardboard down to size to place inside the cage under the plastic tray. The plastic tray needs more support than just resting on a few wires on the bottom. The dog's weight will cause the tray to flex excessively (and possibly break) without more support.
All-in-all, this is a nice cage. I like that it has 2 doors. Just remember to factor in dog's habits if considering buying this product. This one might be fine or you might want to step up to the Ultima series (sold by other vendors).
I've dealt with Midwest's customer service for an unrelated issue and it was a very good experience."
