won't buy again Date: November 19, 2008
"This heater didn't even last a year & because it doesn't have an indicator light you can't see if it is on. Warranty is a pain. Send back with a receipt & pay for all shipping. Isn't worth it. Bought another from aqueon & after about a year its not reliable. 1 phone call & they are sending me another. Also had another heater from All-glass aquarium, same company as aqueon, same story new heater. Either I'm hard on heaters or they are not reliable. I will only be dealing with Aqueon products. Great Customer Service"

Great!!! Date: August 31, 2008
"i have had this heater for about a month and it works great! i had a heater before this and the temperture was wack and it was bad! This one stays at 80 degrees and never goes lower and only gets higher when its hot im our house! the temp dial is a good feature. the only thing i had trouble with was gettting the suction cups on! but i still would recoomend this! BEWARE: DO NOT GO CHEAP ON HEATERS!!! Trust me! so for the price its worth it!
p.s sorry, the picture isnt that good, but it shows u the top!"

Great heater! Date: June 1, 2008
"You can tell it's quality even in the store. It's well-made and it's obvious compared to some of the other heaters you'll see. The others may be a few bucks cheaper but it isn't worth saving a few bucks to have a glass heater break in your tank or an inferior heater malfunctioning and burning up or freezing your fish. These heaters are matte black which is nice as it doesn't distract like some of the glass heaters or those with paint or metal on them. Marineland is always a safe purchase."

amazing, from a pro's point of view Date: May 19, 2008
"I have 7 tanks, ranging from 6 to 55 gallons. I've tried a multitude of different brands of heaters and I have to say this one is just amazing. I have a stealth in 5 tanks, and my tank temp is always within 1 degree of where I set the heater. They are truly indestructable, my Oscars can't even break it. If you find that your temp isn't staying where you want it, I would suggest getting a digital thermometer before you go and buy another heater. They are much more accurate, and I find they work better than your cheapo thermometers.
I can't say enough good about these heaters, I will be buying one for any tanks in the future, and reccomend them to all of my friends."

Marineland Stealth Visi-Therm Date: May 14, 2008
"I own multiple Stealth heaters and have basically been pretty happy.
The plus sides of these is
a) Easy to find
b)new look makes it shatterproof
c)if water line falls under where the heater sits, the Visi-Therm will turn itself off, which is fantastic,as I've lost a few heaters in the past from tank cleanings and not realizing where my water line was compared to my heaters.
My only complaint is what a few of the other's have stated,it really should have a light to show you that it's on.I guess that some of us need that visual picture. Other than that,it's a good working heater."

Love it Date: May 13, 2008
"I love this heater for so many reasons. The temperature dial is very easy to get to, read, and set; there's no guessing involved like some of the cheaper heaters. I love that it will shut off if it is ever out of water just as a safety precaution. It keeps all my tanks the constant recommended temperature and I haven't had to replace it in over a year."

Excellent, reliable heater Date: May 3, 2008
"I would highly recommend this heater. I have the 25 watt and it keeps my betta's tank at a constant 79 degrees F and is just right for a smaller tank (2.5 gallons). Have not had any problems with it at all!"

Stealth Aquarium Heater Date: April 2, 2008
"Wow! I must have bought a bad one. I've kept aquariums for 30 years and this is the worst heater I've ever had! The water is either 88 or 78-nothing in between. I'm so frustrated I'm ready to dig out my old Metaframe Heater.
By far the worst I've had."

"This heater is easy to set up and use. the only thing I don't like is there is no light to indicate it is working. Overall I 'm very pleased with this product, it maintains a constant temperature in my tank.

Love that it is hardly visible in my Betta tank."

Great Product Date: March 24, 2008
"I got the 25 watt for my 2 gallon tank and it's been keeping it at a steady 80 degrees. The only two complaints I have which I knew before I bought it is that there's no way of knowing if it's on or not and that it doesn't have a built in thermometer. (Which is the only reason why i didn't give it a 5 paw.)"

Forget the Rest, This is the Best! Date: February 9, 2008
"I bought the Marineland Stealth 200 heater after I finally had enough of the old, unreliable, ugly, dangerous glass eyesore aquarium heaters. Set Stealth and forget it, super consistancy, unbreakable, slim and it's nearly invisible in the tank. I had a fear every winter of my fish frying with those old bulky glass ones, the Stealth will do it's job worry free, I keep the thermostat set at 80 and that's exactly what I get, and believe me it's consistant! AND no more worrying about a glass one breaking in tank! This is A Gem! I do agree an indicator light would be nice, but even without it, I'll give it a 5!"

Reliable Heater Date: February 8, 2008
"I like how they are flat black and blend into my tanks decor. The lack of an indicator light is the only thing stopping me from giving it 5 out of 5. This has been a good reliable heater for over a year."

Darn! Date: January 6, 2008
"It seems like a good, solid heater; I like the brand and all..but it has no light to indicate if it's on or off. If it malfunctions, I will have no way of knowing it. If the tank gets cold, I'll have to assume it's on. If the tank gets too warm, I won't know if it's still on until the temperature change is drastic enough to harm the fish."

Wow... Date: January 1, 2008
"After trying a cheaper heater I got this one. Anything I hate is breaking in a new heater to get the temp right. Well this is a pleasant surprise. It says on the package it is + or - within one degree, and it is true!! All I had to do was take it out of the package, install the suction cups, set the temp and install it in my aquarium. It has been two days and the temp is right on!
Thanks Stealth and the salesperson at Petco!"

worked until it died by voltage spike Date: December 3, 2007
"I bought one of these for family members. It worked until there was a power outage; I think the little surges in the power line killed the heater. Good thing that the company has a lifetime guarantee."
