"So far thje best I've owned with very reasonable price. It has safty feature that turns off when being taken from water or the water level is too low."

Good
Date: July 22, 2009
"I have had this heater for over a year in my 40 gallon FOWLER ( fish only with live rock) and it has done a good job. Although the suction cups have fallen off the heater contiues to work. The only flaws are there is no way to tell if it is on or off, and it dose not have a way of shutting it off other than unplugging it. Other than that is is a good heater."

Great Heater
Date: April 10, 2009
"I have the 25 watt heater and it keeps my 5 gallon tank at the same temperature throughout the day! It works great! I would recommend this heater to anyone. On the box, the 25 watt heater says it's for up to 8 gallons."

good heater, I am buying a second one...
Date: March 18, 2009
"i have had this 100 watt model in a 20 gallon tank for about two weeks and am very happy. it appears to keep a constant temperature and blends in well with my tank. I don't really care if it has a distracting light, I can see the heat waves in the water when it is heating. The suction cups were tough to attach and took about 10 minutes of work, so that could be improved or assembled before shipped for convenience. I am buying a second one (50 watt) for a 10 gallon tank. The last heater I had ran constantly at any selected temp, so it killed several fish. This one has been wonderful and can be set and forget. I like the red/black color combination. It would be nice if heaters could be made with a battery backup alarm if power was lost or temp could not be maintained for some reason. My little fish liked to swim along side of this to warm up."

Terrible
Date: January 11, 2009
"This is one of the worst heaters I have. On the box it said that it could support tanks up to 15 gallons so I thought It would have no problem supporting my 10 gallon tank. First of the heater has no sort of light or anything to tell you its on or heating. The heater is not accurate! I need my tank to be at 80 degrees and to do this I have to set the heater at 83 and at night the tank drops atleast 3-4 degrees even though it says its accurate to +1 F. I have returned it once and got the same results with a new one. I would return it again but the only petco near me is small and they only stock this brand and the petco brand which Im not sure about."

won't buy again
Date: November 19, 2008
"This heater didn't even last a year & because it doesn't have an indicator light you can't see if it is on. Warranty is a pain. Send back with a receipt & pay for all shipping. Isn't worth it. Bought another from aqueon & after about a year its not reliable. 1 phone call & they are sending me another. Also had another heater from All-glass aquarium, same company as aqueon, same story new heater. Either I'm hard on heaters or they are not reliable. I will only be dealing with Aqueon products. Great Customer Service"

Great!!!
Date: August 31, 2008
"i have had this heater for about a month and it works great! i had a heater before this and the temperture was wack and it was bad! This one stays at 80 degrees and never goes lower and only gets higher when its hot im our house! the temp dial is a good feature. the only thing i had trouble with was gettting the suction cups on! but i still would recoomend this! BEWARE: DO NOT GO CHEAP ON HEATERS!!! Trust me! so for the price its worth it!
p.s sorry, the picture isnt that good, but it shows u the top!

Great heater!
Date: June 1, 2008
"You can tell it's quality even in the store. It's well-made and it's obvious compared to some of the other heaters you'll see. The others may be a few bucks cheaper but it isn't worth saving a few bucks to have a glass heater break in your tank or an inferior heater malfunctioning and burning up or freezing your fish. These heaters are matte black which is nice as it doesn't distract like some of the glass heaters or those with paint or metal on them. Marineland is always a safe purchase."

amazing, from a pro's point of view
Date: May 19, 2008
"I have 7 tanks, ranging from 6 to 55 gallons. I've tried a multitude of different brands of heaters and I have to say this one is just amazing. I have a stealth in 5 tanks, and my tank temp is always within 1 degree of where I set the heater. They are truly indestructable, my Oscars can't even break it. If you find that your temp isn't staying where you want it, I would suggest getting a digital thermometer before you go and buy another heater. They are much more accurate, and I find they work better than your cheapo thermometers.
I can't say enough good about these heaters, I will be buying one for any tanks in the future, and reccomend them to all of my friends.

Marineland Stealth Visi-Therm
Date: May 14, 2008
"I own multiple Stealth heaters and have basically been pretty happy.
The plus sides of these is
a) Easy to find
b)new look makes it shatterproof
c)if water line falls under where the heater sits, the Visi-Therm will turn itself off, which is fantastic,as I've lost a few heaters in the past from tank cleanings and not realizing where my water line was compared to my heaters.
My only complaint is what a few of the other's have stated,it really should have a light to show you that it's on.I guess that some of us need that visual picture. Other than that,it's a good working heater.

Love it
Date: May 13, 2008
"I love this heater for so many reasons. The temperature dial is very easy to get to, read, and set; there's no guessing involved like some of the cheaper heaters. I love that it will shut off if it is ever out of water just as a safety precaution. It keeps all my tanks the constant recommended temperature and I haven't had to replace it in over a year."

Excellent, reliable heater
Date: May 3, 2008
"I would highly recommend this heater. I have the 25 watt and it keeps my betta's tank at a constant 79 degrees F and is just right for a smaller tank (2.5 gallons). Have not had any problems with it at all!"

Stealth Aquarium Heater
Date: April 2, 2008
"Wow! I must have bought a bad one. I've kept aquariums for 30 years and this is the worst heater I've ever had! The water is either 88 or 78-nothing in between. I'm so frustrated I'm ready to dig out my old Metaframe Heater.
By far the worst I've had.

Best ever
Date: April 2, 2008
"This heater is easy to set up and use. the only thing I don't like is there is no light to indicate it is working. Overall I 'm very pleased with this product, it maintains a constant temperature in my tank.
Love that it is hardly visible in my Betta tank."

Great Product
Date: March 24, 2008
"I got the 25 watt for my 2 gallon tank and it's been keeping it at a steady 80 degrees. The only two complaints I have which I knew before I bought it is that there's no way of knowing if it's on or not and that it doesn't have a built in thermometer. (Which is the only reason why i didn't give it a 5 paw.)"

Forget the Rest, This is the Best!
Date: February 9, 2008
"I bought the Marineland Stealth 200 heater after I finally had enough of the old, unreliable, ugly, dangerous glass eyesore aquarium heaters. Set Stealth and forget it, super consistancy, unbreakable, slim and it's nearly invisible in the tank. I had a fear every winter of my fish frying with those old bulky glass ones, the Stealth will do it's job worry free, I keep the thermostat set at 80 and that's exactly what I get, and believe me it's consistant! AND no more worrying about a glass one breaking in tank! This is A Gem! I do agree an indicator light would be nice, but even without it, I'll give it a 5!"

Reliable Heater
Date: February 8, 2008
"I like how they are flat black and blend into my tanks decor. The lack of an indicator light is the only thing stopping me from giving it 5 out of 5. This has been a good reliable heater for over a year."
