Fits in 1 gallon betta bowls!

First filter that I've found that fits the spherical shape of a Betta bowl! My sister and I both bought one of these for our Betta bowls. My fish had no issues with the filter but my sister's fish had trouble swimming. We figured out that the decoration in my fish's tank was breaking up the current in bowl and making it softer for him so we dug up a bigger decoration and put it in front of my sister's filter. This solved the problem and her Betta is quite happy with this filter. Both of us removed the aeration tube it is unnecessary for Bettas . Between this filter and a rams-horn snail (eats uneaten food and keeps the viewing crystal clear) our Betta bowls stay cleaner longer.

i bought this filter for my 2 gal and it cleaned up all the waste, and left the water cristal clear, although it is a little to powerful. if you take of the airline tube it is very quite and is less powerful but still a little too much for a betta so i pointed the the water out-put against the side of the tank and now it has just the right power infact my betta loves too swim near it.

I bought this filter for my 5 gallon. It is not for a tank this small. I think it would do much better in a 10-20 gallon. Thats how powerfull it is. It is not super quiete, but can be if you detach the part that sucks in air. As far as cleanning water, this thing is unparallel. This filter is way better than any of the power filters sitting on the outside of the tank. It does create tons of motion underwater and because of that really does a great job cleaning every little corner of the tank

I was excited to find a filter small enough for my 2.5 gallon tank. After getting it in the mail, I hooked it up right away. On the lowest setting it was too powerful. Raf, my betta, seems to kind of like it. He's not afraid but wants to swim into the current. But he can't just float with it on. I only have it on for a few minutes once or twice a day.

This filter does not clean what it does is it sucks up food and puts it back into the water.(Even if the filter pad is in the filter).

I have 18 bettas all in 5.5 gallon tanks with filter......6 have these filters and while they produce a little too much current even on low if you place a plant or other ornament in front of it it cuts it down enough so Slim Shady ( that's my white betta ) can deal with it and still has a quiet corner to blow bubbles.........

Better as a Diffuser

This little 'Filter' makes an excellent Co2 Diffuser on a pressurized system. Plus its an additional micro filter and will help mover your fertilizers around.
In my opinion it would make a terrible filter for a small tank though, as it is quite powerful, even on the lowest setting.
However it might make the perfect Filter/Diffuser combo in a well established and planted 5-10 Gallon tank.
5 Paws as a diffuser, 2 paws as a filter for a small tank.

I bought this filter for my fiddler crab's tank. It cleans well, but is very powerful. Even on the lowest setting my crab can't get to close otherwise he is blown away. It is a very nice filter though.

Bought it not as a primary filter but converted it to help disperse DIY yeast CO2 in my 10 gallon tank. Great for the price and does the job. Also provides an bit of an increase in water flow.

Specific buy for DIY defuser and does a great job. Very strong output which is great of aeration. Used in 10gallon and circulates water very well, imagine can be used as a power head for larger tanks. For the price it can't be beat.

I know it says its for up to three gallon tanks but i used mine in a five gallon tank and the water was extremely dirty the next day. Maybe it would work better in a three gallon but the current it produces would be way to strong for any fish that could live in a three gallon tank.

These little filters are fantastic for small tanks. Great for betta tanks, hospital tanks, quarantine tanks, shrimp tanks and baby fish tanks. I like how the flow is adjustable so you won't be stressing out a sick fish or betta with a high water flow.
They're very small and hardly take up any room at all. I modify the filters by cutting a small layer off the sponge on the bottom and I put carbon (pieces larger than the intake slits) in there.

A very quiet, and very small internal filter - probably the smallest one on the market. The attached venturi also makes it a good CO2 injector.

I love this filter, I've experimented with other mini filters for my small 2.65 fry aquarium, and there is none to beat this one. To top it off, its much cheaper than other mini's. It really is a no lose situation. It fits the entire apparatus (minus the air tube) inside the aquarium, unlike other "internal" filters with large, noisy external air pumps. It is great at moving the water around and does a fair job at cleaning junk out of the water. I highly recommend this filter.

This thing works great for a mini CO2 reactor! Inject the CO2 into the inlet of this filter and it gets distributed very efficiently w/ little mods

i bought this filter for my three huge fish bowls, (3 gallons each), about 3 month ago, it works great the only thing is that the water current is very strong even in the lowest seting, so i put the filter inside an acrylic cup big enough to room the filter and at the same time small enough to fit in the fish bowl so that way can filter the water without harm my fishies, and works great, my fishies can swim all around the fish bowl and belive it or not the love to swin around the cup that shields the filter. it is beautiful watch them swimming!
