Nice piece of cat maintenance equipment
Date: September 20, 2009
"We had an older pair of guillotine-type clippers that our cats just hated. One of our cats has lots of fur feathers between her toes and the old clippers pulled the fur when we clipped her nails. These new clippers do not do that, they are nice and sharp, and easy to use. So far (knock wood) we have not had to use the styptic pencil attached, but are glad to have it in case."

Poor product, don't buy!
Date: September 17, 2007
"When I first saw this product, I thought it must be comfortable to hold and cut well because of the size. My theory proved incorrected after the first clipping session. It was too bulky which made it difficult to hold and aim. After a few snips, the blade was bent and dull, the clipper would not reclose. I returned it and bought a similar nail clipper to JW Pet Nail Clipper for Cats (maybe the same one, I forgot the brand). It was much easier to use. The blade was not blocking the nail, so it was much easier for me to see where I was clipping. In this case, basic is better."

Bamboo nail cliiper
Date: January 27, 2007
"I must say that I am not used to doing my cats nails monthly. I usually have to take her to the pet shop and have them do it for me, but since I am handicapped and my cat is my licenced pet companion, and getting bigger, it was harder for me to take her in, so I bought these clippers and found them extremely easy to use. Priscilla knew I did not know what I was doing at first, but she did really well, and the nail file is excellent. Really helps in-between times of clippng and she does not mind me doing that. Then she goes to one of her scratching posts and stretches out and purrs for me for hours.
By these clippers. They are a kit, and work extremely well. And worth the money!

These Don't Work At All
Date: June 24, 2006
"I agree with the previous reviewer. They did not cut through my cat's claw but crushed it and left ragged edges. My cat ended up catching her claw on the carpet and bleeding. Even regular human nail clippers work better than these. I am returning these clippers today."
