"We just bought a second one for our 2nd Lab. I wish the first one would have come with the divider as this one does. Great to travel with too!"

Fantastic Cage Date: May 19, 2008
"This cage is great. It is SOO easy to fold up and put away and to set it up. This cage even has a clip that keeps the cage folded up while storing it."

great crate after 8 years Date: March 19, 2008
"I have had this crate for 8 years now. Works great!! My dogs are pretty mellow, but one frequently tries to paw at the gate latches once she is in. After many years she is still not able to figure it out and get out. It is now a temoryary home for my great dane puppy. (36" crate) It fits him prefectly right now as he is only 10 weeks old. Pretty soon i will need to buy the 48" and donate this old one to a shelter."

My dog loves her kennel! Date: February 8, 2008
"Before we purchased this kennel, when our dog was small, we had one of those enclosed plastic crates, and she hated it! We got this one hoping that she'd like it more since it's open and she could see out better. And luckily we were right! She loves this one and has no problem going into it. The divider was great for when she was smaller and still completing her potty training. The multiple doors are great too. Very easy to move and clean."

Excellent at what it is Date: January 29, 2008
"This is a medium-duty crate probably best suited for a dog that does not challenge the crate. Our "middle" Shelitie is such a dog; this crate works perfectly for him.

However, our "senior" sheltie is 19" and nearly 50 pounds. The heavier-duty Petmate crate works for him; I think he might damage this medium duty crate (or himself, more importantly) as his protective nature will cause him to attempt to exit the crate when the doorbell rings."

This crate is a pretty good crate. Date: January 16, 2007
"I got one of these crates ( the medium ) and the bottom bent slightly and now it is hard to fold. Besides that it is a fairly good crate. Also, the locking handle doesn't like to move as well as other crates I have had in the past. Hope this review helped!!!"

GERRREAT! Date: July 29, 2006
"This crate is perfect for puppies. You put them in there while at work and then you have no accidents! You dog or puppy will find the crate safe and a great place to sleep. They might whine or howl at first, but only because they are not used to it. I recommend this to anyone. So get up and go shopping!"

Not good for strong dogs! Date: July 25, 2006
"My boxer, who is 40 pounds, is pretty strong and we ended up purchasing 2 of these within a year. After she figured out that she could paw the wires on the door break them off with ease, it took her a matter of days to break enough wires so she could poke her head out. We looked everywhere for a cage that did not have the wires saudered together (the horizontal and vertical bars are lightly saudered together) because the bond was way to weak. Our solution--we bought a carrier that was made of plastic with a metal door with the wires spaced closer together. Either she likes this better and has not tried to escape or the closer spacing is preventing the breakage. My advice--if you have a fairly strong dog (especially with separation anxiety) who will seriously dislike being penned up....try a carrier first. If your dog is pretty easy going or couldn't escape out of a paper bag...you will be fine!"
