nice size but poorly made
Date: November 8, 2009
"The issue with the hutch is that it is very poorly constructed. If your rabbit is like my rabbit he is very curious. He pushes on the top of the bedding area and can push the top right off, we have to keep it closed with a heavy object on top. The different trays that you can slide out, seem like a great idea but when I try to slide them out the stuffing and waste falls on the floor, the only way I am able to clean the cage is to take the whole bottom off, which is difficult to slide on and off. I really like the size and the second tier setup however."

Good cage...but.....
Date: November 8, 2009
"I love this cage and love that I can roll it around the house and take Mr. Bunny outside and not worry about him. It is the perfect height for our 4 yr old to feed him carrots and such and love on him. Mr. Bunny seems to really like it as well! It is very easy to clean out. The bad part is that is was crazy to put together. The instructions are awfull and there is a blue piece I still have no clue what it is for. The water bottle kept falling off and spilling but I had another one so I use that instead. The little hut is a cute idea but the bottom came cracked and the top doesnt close well. Mr. Bunny doesnt really hang out in there anyway...except to do his business I think. The ramp keeps falling off...but Mr. Bunny just jumps on the shelf anyway. Overall the rest of the cage is pretty sturdy."

Purchase of bunny cage
Date: October 15, 2009
"I was not happy with the product. When I opened the box, the bags which held the smaller pieces was open and one side of the cage was not welded properly. I had to drive 40 minutes to another PETCO to exchange the cage. The store associate was very helpful. I love the cage, was not happy with the quality control."

Outstanding Rabbit Cage/Hutch
Date: September 5, 2009
"This is an excellent home for my rabbit. I purchased another cage/hutch initially which was a complete disaster....it had 3 major design flaws. This cage/hutch however has none that I can see. It is sturdy and designed with attention to details that rabbits and rabbit owners will appreciate. My bunny (iHop) loves his new home. He has explored every square inch, and I can detect his approval. I read some reviews that warned of the dangers associated with the nesting box, and I considered simply not using it, but iHop LOVES the nesting box, so I put a bungee around the top-to-bottom, and I bungeed it around the sides and fastened it with the bungee to the cage itself. No way, no how with those bungees will I have any problems with the nesting box. (I do have to admit, that it was a bit flimsy before I added the bungees....and I didn't want to take any chances.) But so what if you have to add a couple of bungee cords. It is worth it. I am delighted with this rabbit cage, and so is iHop."

Problem
Date: August 20, 2009
"It arrived with two welds broken, and at that weight, not easy to lug back to a local Petco. Also, for the assembly -challenged people, note that there are many pieces, and no directions, just some drawings."

Great cage. only one problem
Date: July 28, 2009
"this is my third bunny cage i have purchased and also my favorite. it allows easy access and viewing of the pet. my rabbit really likes it, especially the upper level. the food and water feeders are easy to fill and its super easy to clean. the only con about this cage is that my rabbit likes to use the house as a litter box and the tray to the litter box has holes in the bottom so we had to do a few things so that it wouldnt leak. other than that this cage is well worth your money and i recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good cage."

AWESOME BUY!
Date: July 10, 2009
"I bought this cage for my rabbit, Cookie, and she loves it! As soon as I got her she wanted to go in her cage. She wouldn't come out for an hour! All she kept doing was drinking her water, eating her pellets, and going into that small compartment to the acual cage! SO CCCCUUUTTTEEE!!!"

Our favorite cage!
Date: February 15, 2009
"This cage is the best cage I have ever had! I got Junie, a female brown Mini Lop, almost 3 years ago in June. The first cage I got her was the Marchioro Luna Spa Small Animal Cage. Both I and Junie love it! I would reccomend it 100% to anyone! The side and top doors allow easy access and Junie absolutely loves the platform to hide under! She also loves the hay rack! The only let down was the water bottle. It leaks and spills too easily. But I bet it works better for some and worse for others. I also had to get rid of the extra room on the side of the cage because whenever Junie digs, which is a lot, the bottom would slide out! But I don't mean you shouldn't get this cage! It is wonderful! Junie and I love it!"

Love IT!!! . . . . but . . . .
Date: February 8, 2009
"I absolutely LOVE this cage! I have a Norwegin Dwarf/Small Rex rabbit named Dusty who loves the cage. She is still adjusting to the shelf though, I think the ramp is a little to intimidating for her. But I'm sure that with time she will learn to love it as much as she does the rest of the cage. I love the nest box, feeder, and bottom slide out trays. Everything is very easy to clean and I love that the bottom grid is made out of plastic instead of metal so that it is easy on her little feet. She loves the nest box best of all.
I have encountered a few minor problems . . . . Multiple parts of the product where broken. Whether it be the shipping or manufacturing company that conducted the errors, we expect replacement parts. The ramp does not stay attached to the shelf if the shelf is placed lower to the cage floor (which is necessary for my bunny because she is still unsure of the elevated surface).
Overall the product really is very nice. It is very spacious and is easily mobel seeing as it is on wheels. I love that it not only opens from the side, but also the top. I would deffinetly recomend this product to other bunny lovers."

Probably the best cage you could possibly buy!
Date: December 31, 2008
"So, I bought this cage about 2 years ago, and it still looks brand new. It is so big, and could easily house 2 piggies (: The nesting box is perfect since it doesn't take up room in the cage. It is VERY easy to clean, i just use a dust pan and it is so simpe. Once every two months, i take the base out and clean it outside using equal parts vinnegar and water. I think Elvis loves this as much as i do! I don't even use the mesh bottom thing, since I know those are bad for guniea pigs, but they would be fine for rabbits, because they are so small. I would honestly reccommend this to anyone looking for a good cage that is worth their money!"

Nice, easy-care cage
Date: December 14, 2008
"We like the cage a lot. Our mini-lop figured out how to raise the lid and slide out the drawer of the nest. We made a 4' run out of 4 sections of closet maid wire shelving and attached it to the opening instead. The litter box goes at the far end and we cover that part with a towel. We cover the wire floor with newpaper to save the feet. This is great and so easy to take care of. We use the ramp to prop up the shelf."

Awesome for guineas!
Date: September 18, 2008
"I LOVE this cage! I bought it as a huge upgrade for my guinea pig and I'm pretty sure he loves it too! THe mesh bottom is plastic and doesn't hurt his feet and it is so easy to clean! I love the second level, it just took a little while for my piggy to figure out how to get up. The acessories are kind of cheap so I use my old ones. I would definatley recommend this product!!"

Perfect for guineas
Date: September 2, 2008
"I bought this a while back for my guinea Pushito. It for sure was a big upgrade compared to his old cage. It was much larger and he had more room to scamper and popcorn and the nesting box was nice too because i didn't have to worry about his pigloo taking up space. The water bottle and shelf that come with the cage are useless, but the gravity feeder is nice for when your gone on a long weekend you don't have to worry about your guinea going hungry. I was able to attach the nesting box quite well and have never really worried about it coming off or putting my guinea in danger. I do like the pull out trays they make cleaning really convient, i do wish though that they were a little deeper so that i didn't have to always worry about cleaning them so frequently. Overall a great poduct, just not real crazy about the price, a worthy investment, or at leats so my guinea thinks."

I only buy this cage
Date: June 10, 2008
"Hi, I have 3 of these and what I have done is to connect two cages, matching up the side doors. I take one door off and tie the two cages together. I keep pairs together and they love to jump between cages and it makes for a more stimulating environment.
There are 2 rabbits, Roberto and Amber in the other cage and they are ok but it would be better to get another cage for them too.
I found the cubby attachment great as they love to hide in it. The shelf was flimsy so I cut a piece of wood and hammered nails on the side so as to hook it onto the horizontal cage part and it works great.
They like to hop up and down on this shelf and the ramp was too narrow and took up too much room so I never used it. We never use the bottle either as they like to drink out of a bowl.
I put plenty of hay and they have their pellets too - Bunny 16.
I change the sliding drawers down below everyday and that works fine. It would be better if the drawers had a little more depth, as being so shallow, they get filled up easily and are difficult to pull out. Probably the hay, but rabbits need fresh hay and they also like to lay on it..
They have a litter box but miss it a lot.
Going to get another cage today to expand the other two creatures' apartment.
In nice weather, they do go out in an enclosed lawn area and they have made tons of holes and burrowed down to create a cavernous hiding place. Hard to catch them but don't like leaving them out at night.
Today with 90 degrees temp. they are all indoors in ac.!!!!
This cage is great and versatile!~! Made in Italy too!

Caveat Emptor
Date: May 18, 2008
"I purchased this cage from our local pet store for my lionhead rabbit. He was quickly able to escape from the "nest" by pushing on the bottom - it slides off for cleaning and is only held in place by a tiny plastic lock which he was able to pop out very easily. We ultimately ended up taking the nest off. He chewed on the ramp from day one so it didn't take long before we had to remove the ramp but then the shelf began to sag without the ramp to help support the weight of the rabbit (even though he only weighs a few pounds). We never used the water bottle as the one that came with the cage would never close properly unless it was taped and I thought it looked tacky that way. I do like how the bottom drawers pull out for cleaning and feel that the cage is roomy - our bunny is litter box trained and there is plenty of room for him and his litter box in the cage. We have had this cage for almost a year now and we have recently had to secure the bottom with clamps because it no longer fits correctly on the base. Overall, I think the cage looks nice and provides a lot more room than most indoor rabbit cages but it is far from perfect. If you have a small netherland dwarf that doesn't like to chew it would be great."

Great Cage
Date: May 3, 2008
"This is a very nice cage, and I love that it is easy to transport and has room for storage underneath! The only problem is I don't like the pull out drawers and the bottom. I'd prefer a flat bottom that is better on my piggies paws."

Wonderful Cage.
Date: April 17, 2008
"This is such a great investment. Yes, it is around $200, give or take. But you get what you pay for. The plastic is durable and solid, the square sleeping den is cozy, and most important IT IS ESCAPE PROOF!!! We got this for our ferret, the escape artist. He has managed to escape or knaw his way out of every other cage sold for ferrets at Petco. I am peace knowing I bought our guy a cage where he will be safe, comfy and warm. It is also so super easy to clean. This cage is a must for all small animal owners!"

Rabbit LOVES his new house!
Date: February 19, 2008
"We recently rescued a rabbit, whom our 5 year old named Cottontail (CT for short). We had no idea what to expect, and how to care for him. We originally got a normal, smallish cage. We quickly realized that it wasn't working, so we searched and read reviews and decided on the Luna Spa. With some reservations. Well, I am so glad we got it! CT has almost twice as much room, a place to hide, and a cool ramp that he doesn't use in the normal way. He prefers to lift it up and down with his head. Very odd, and entertaining. He has no problem climbing/hopping up and down from the 2nd story where the pellet food fits. The only thing we are not using is the water bottle. He doesn't like that--he likes his old one better."
