"I've used different lids a long time ago that never really locked on to the can like these do! They are a bit pricey for a lil piece of plastic, but its worth it! We use them for large cans of puppy food, and they wash easy and are durable for lots of uses (haven't had one that wore out yet). No smells in the fridge of puppy food, no mess if it accidentally gets tipped over and it keeps the food fresh."

"My bf was leaving leftover cans in the fridge covering them using only foil on the tops and was also leaving the spoon/fork he used to scoop it out on top of said foil. It started to really gross me out when I need to put things in there without a lid and the smells were combining and yuck! So anyway, I finally picked these up and they work really well. They keep the smell 100% gone in the fridge and keep the food fresh for the kitties. If you are having a similar problem i would definitely recommend these. They work very well for their intended use. I have even pondered using them for veggie and sauce cans, haha."

Can Covers are better to cover the can.

"I used to use tin foil to cover my cans of cat and dog food. When I'd take the can out, it has changed colors because the air had gotton into the can and I couldn't use it. I was constantly throwing out cans of food with 1/4 of the food missing. Then I discovered 2 in 1 Pet Food Can Covers at PETCO and they work so much better. No air gets into the can and I'm no longer throwing the cans out until they are empty."

"This is a great item to have around. I have 3 cats, and on average, they eat 2 1/3 cans a night, so the cover is perfect for keeping thier food fresh until the next night. Also, sometimes I turn the lid upsidedown and use it as a scoop for dry food. One scoop is perfect for 1 cat to eat."

An absolute must-have!

"These are a must-have for anyone who uses wet canned food but doesn't use the entire can at one feeding. Easy to pop on and off and easily cleaned in my dishwasher. Had tried aluminum foil and plastic wrap before but those were such a hassle compared to the $0.99 investment of a PetCo food can cover!"
