"2 of my 4 guinea pigs fight over these, when they get a new one in their cage. It is the best day ever for Otis and Xaria, when they get a new straw mat. After they are done tearing it apart, they enjoy munching on it as a snack."

"I bought these for my two gerbils, to make some solid places to stand on the wire floor of the highrise on top of their cage.
They left them alone for a couple days.. then shredded them and used the material to make a pretty awesome little nest in the bottom of their cage. Gerbils shred everything, of course, so that's what you'd expect.
They'd probably be just as happy shredding up toilet paper rolls, but these are cheap, and they look nice while they last, so I'm sure I'll buy them again."

"My rabbit liked it but didnt use it to lay on instead he ate it. It was kinda small though would recommend buying a lot if you have a big cage its about palm size just in a square."

"I bought this as a cover for some wire shelves in my girls cage, it worked wonderful, they did not chew it or anything. They both loved to lay on it...Until one day little girl decided she could not hold her potty in anymore and peed on them. I had to throw them away. But they were not expensive so I was not upset. I would recommend these to anyone. I will be getting some more here shortly."

"i bought this today and its smaller than i thought, but my guinea pig seems to love it. its a 2 pack, which is so helpful because i now have 2 guinea pig cages! my guinea pig loves to nibble it and only after having it for a few minutes he took a nap right on it! its a most have and so cheap too!"

"I line my bunny's hay box with this. He sits on it while mutching on hay. He also sleeps on it. Eventually he will end up chewing on it. It is a multi-purpose item and my bunny just LOVES it. I do too since it is inexpensive!

"I have a guinea pig. Jimmy loves his mat. He chews on it, and I use it against one wall of the aqaurium that he's in. It's 50 gallons so he was a lot fo space. Being a prey animal that makes him nervous so I put the mat sideways against one wal. Now when he exits his igloo he is bloacked on one side by the wall, and on the other side by the mat. But he has climbing surface next to the mat so he can look out over it. And he chews on the edges of it. Definitely a great buy!"

"I purchased this mat after hearing on a website that it's a very good toy for rabbits. This mat is my rabbit's favorite toy ever. He sleeps on it, lays on it, and eats it. It's hours of entertainment and helps his digestion (he refuses to eat regular hay). I go through 1 every 2-3 months. They're cheap and your rabbit will love you for it! I plan on buying my chinchillas some soon as well!"

"My rabbit has had all kinds of toys and flooring, but he LOVES these straw mats the most! I've been buying them for him for years. If you start buying these, plan to end up getting more; they're not permanent floor coverings, because rabbits and other small animals love to eat them as much as they love to sit on them. I recently bought a 2-pack for my baby rat, and he's in love with them, too. The texture is great for busy little guys to climb on and hide under. It's best to buy these

"I purchased the mat in hopes that it would be a good cover for the kitty carrier I purchased for my chinchilla. He could nibble on it, collect his droppings, and it would hopefully be comfortable to him. By the end of the trip he was not a happy, which of course I don't blame entirely on the mat. Its just not something I would recommend for any chinchilla owner."

"Because our rabbit kicked the bedding out of her cage, it seemed that I had to sweep up every 5 mins. just to keep things under control. I've been looking for alternatives to bedding for a while and I have to say - this mat is great! Because it's eddible, Miss Lucky can nibble on it and gets a good workout scratching at it. When she is done she'll take a rest on it and best of all - NO mess!! I bought the biggest one they had at the store and I wish it was bigger. I also had to put the litter box on top of it so she wouldn't keep raising it off the bottom of her cage."
