Thought we were on to something

"Bought this toy for my 11 month old American Staffordshire Terrier. She destroys tennis balls in less than 10 minutes, thought maybe this would last for her. Well, gave her the toy, jumped in the shower and when I got out, one end of the 'jack' shaped toy was gone. She is a super power chewer, ruins kongs in a week, but she does love this toy, it is great for chewers, I just have to buy them in quantity! I only give it to her now when I feel like cleaning up all the pieces she spits out. Highly recomend this toy, bright, colorful, and Scratch loves it. Just wish I could find something she can't destroy other than a brick."

"I bought 3 Petstages toys b/c all the reviews made them sound extremely sturdy: the ring toss, the shake & toss and this Orka chew. Of all 3, my one year old boxer took least of all to this one.
When she finally settled down to play with this one, she 1) pulled the strings out from the plastic tube immediately and then 2) chewed the rubber tube in half. This occured within a half hour of concentrated chewing.
This toy is definitely NOT for power chewers, as another reivew states. Also, unlike the other 2 toys which were all material, I was extremely concerned that she might have swallowed some of the rubber tube after chewing through it.
Major dissappointment. I still searching for a quality & sturdy chew toy that will capture my boxer's attention without an annoying squek toy inside."

My dog loves this toy

"My dog (4 months old) loves to chew on this toy. This toy keeps her really entertained when she's on the couch and after awhile she passes out. She loves playing tug-of-war with the toy, and gets really agressive. It's very safe, this toy has not come apart so far."

"WOW! This whole line of dog toys are WONDERFUL! When our two girls started teething they just LOVED these toys. The ropes and the chewy blue part (which takes quite a beating) held wonderfully.
I would tell anyone who has a new puppy in the house to buy this. It will save SOME of your furniture."

"I have two Saint Bernards but I did not get this toy for them (they have 7 toys already) I got it for my Pot Bellied pig she loves her Petstages Orka chew toy. She is still a baby but she knows what her chew toy looks like cause when we go to the pet store she likes to go into the toy section and she knows exactly where the toys that look like hers are and she likes to go through them and then she will pick her favorite and bring it home. At the moment she has three."

My dog's favorite toy!

"I bought the Petstages Orka Chew Toy for Dogs 6.5" Length - Jack SKU: 939838. My dog LOVES it. Not only has she not been able to tear it up like all of her other toys (she's a bull terrier), but she also loves to bring it to us to throw for her. When you throw it, it bounces around everywhere. This is the only toy she doesn't take outside and leave out there for us to bring in. This lasted for over a year and we only now need to buy another and only because we play MAJOR tug-of-war with it. And unlike her other tug of war toys, this one is easy to get away from her."

"This is the first toy we gave our Cavalier King Charles puppy when we brought him hime and he took right to it. He loves to chew the strings and it can amuse him until he's tired out. We use this toy to coax him out of chewing our fingers or furniture. When he goes for my hand, I say "no" and hand him the toy instead and praise him when he takes it."

"I purchased the Petstages Orka Chew Jack (in the shape of a jack in the jacks toy set). It is the first toy that my dog readily accepted and began playing and chewing on it immediately. He still selects it as his first choice for a toy after having it for 2 months. I would definitely recommend it to anyone with a dog that likes to chew and play. I would purchase this or similar toy readily without hesitation. Well worth the price."

My picky dog LOVES this toy!!

"We have a 2 yr old Jack Russell Terrier and he chews up anything he can get his teeth on..tennis balls last about an hour and then they are reduced to bits of rubber and felt. I purchesed this toy and "Buster" went crazy for it..he never lets it out of his sight..it has replaced every ball he has, and its still in one piece and looks new after 6 months!! This brand toy is so well made and the materials are quite unique. The toys feature lots of different textures so it looks fun to chew on and by Buster's attachment to it, it must have great 'chew appeal'! We are planning on getting more of this brand toy due to the value and duribility! An Excelent choice for your active chewer!"

Chewing Dogs Love Them!

"I have a Wheaten Terrier (18 months) and a Westie (8 months) and both LOVE this toy. The Westie is a chewer, and he not only chews the sturdy blue part (don't know if that is plastic or rubber but it is firm but squishy), he also chews on the fabric. My Wheaten loves to use his larger sized one as a pull toy! It's very versatile."
