"I purchased the Waterdog about 3 years ago for my pup. He kept tipping over his outside dish. When he didn't, it was a hot bug catcher. It didn't take long for him to figure it out. He loves it, always has cold, fresh water and is smart enough on hot days to set it off and let it run a minute before taking a drink, so the water's cool. He looks forward to us putting it out for him every Spring. It really does work a whole season on one set of batteries!"

Dogs still a little afraid of it

"We had to purchase another washer because it leaked at first. But it works perfectly. We had never had our dogs drink from running water or poured into their mouths so they did not know what to think. The sound also scared them. We put a bowl under the spigot and they are getting used to it slowly. I feel so much safer that they can get more water if work keeps me too long or their bowl spills. We turned the water pouring part to the side so the water goes out sideways and they seem to like that better. If your dog knows how to drink from the hose then they will love the fresh water."

Won't turn off

"Went into the yard today to find WaterDog currently running and had been running for some time. Backyard was flooded around WaterDog and there was nothing in the path of the sensor to set it off. Dog was inside the house with me. Turned the faucet off and am soon to return this product."

Great Invention-WaterDog

"I recently bought this and find that my water bowl chores are over and Samson just flat out loves it. In fact he will not drink from a bowl if this is around. Because it is outside, he does not mess up the house and goes out to drink when he is thristy, now mess and very very convenient."
