"These waxworms were 40% dead when I got them. My leopard Gecko didn't eat them, and they were very fragile--i.e. they would die witin an hour of being in my terrarium."

A Gecko's Favorite Food

"My Geckos Love these worms, yes they are high in fat, but they prefer them over crickets, ever since i began feeding the wax worms to them, they would still eat the crickets, but nothing is as good as these as i have 4 leopard geckos and each one eats about 6 to 8 of these.
Highly Recommemd This...

Fat and Happy

"Waxworms are amazing. They are great for any reptile type. About 1inch long, and very fat. They are a great beginner food for baby or sensitive reptiles. Waxworms are very soft and easy to digest, so use them where ever you could use mealworms. Mealworms have a hard, crunchy shell and some species, such as frogs and salamanders (any amphibian really) should never eat mealworms because the mealworms can accually thrive INSIDE your pet and then later burst out their stomachs!! Ahh!
So Waxworms are much better for your pets. They tend to be more expensive than mealworms but they are a great investment.
Use them for Leopard geckos, skinks, chameleons, frogs, salamanders/newts, and even some fish.
For hachling/baby reptiles: feed one waxworm a day or every other day and they will grow much faster and stronger!!
this is a must have for every reptile parent!!!!

"My frog loves these! they move around a lot,so frog can find them and get them better right when I put them in his cage he goes crazy and eats some of them right of the bat. they are also not as nasty as crickets and dont chirp all night. Like my frog fire belly toads love them! I switch between these and crickets ( they are a little more$$ though!)"
