"I purchased this for my Westie - she was all over the car and we are in the car alot. I needed some sort of restraint and decided on the Snoozer because of the features. She loved it right away. She hops right in when we get in the car and stays there until we get out, no matter how long the drive. I bought the double wide in case we got another dog, which we recently did. The new pup understood the concept immediately and the 2 dogs slept all the way home from Bubbie's on Christmas Eve. Not a single squabble. They found their space and that's where they slept. The product is comfortable, well made (for what it is) and is easy to take in & out of the car. We're very happy with it."

"I just bought a Jeep and desperately needed my dog off my lap because it's a stick shift. At first she was reluctant to get in but soon she settled down and now loves it! I would recommend this to anyone who drives with their pet. You won't be disappointed."

"My little one LOVES this seat. We use it as a bed in the house... which has made her transition out of her kennel during the day go very smoothly. Also, since she loves this seat so much, she transitioned from sitting in the front seat to the back seat of the car without a problem! I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in it. But I would recommend that the owner lets their dog use it as a bed a day or two before using it as a car seat for overly-anxious dogs. This is a wonderful product!"

"This is the 2nd time I've purchased one of these car seats. We now have one in each of our family cars and love them. We travel with two small dogs on a fairly regular basis and it's nice to know we can put them safely in the back seat, away from the driver and dangerous airbags, and hook them in with their harnesses. This seat boosts them up high enough to be able to see out of the windows and makes every ride enjoyable - even rides to the vet. Everyone should consider the safety of their pets when they travel with them. Letting them roam around the car is dangerous for you, other drivers on the road and it's dangerous for your beloved pets. If you wouldn't let a baby lay on the front seat or on your lap while you're driving, why would you let a small dog who weighs no more than a baby?"

Love These Seats

"I have been using the Snoozer carseats for over 10 years. My Pugs love them. I use them in the house for them to nap in and then transfer them to the car for traveling and right into the hotel room for sleeping in. It keeps them happy and feeling secure since THEIR chair goes right along on trips taking a little bit of home with them.The seats last forever my Fawn 15 year old Pug used the same chair for pretty much her whole life, yes it got worn after a few years of naps and washings but it was HER spot and hers alone and she loved it.Seats are easy to wash as the cover comes off."

"This is a really great product. It securely fastens to the car seat using the seat belt, then the clip (included) clips to the safety belt and your dog's harness. Little dogs are able to see out the window or snooze in comfort and safety."

"I purchased this car seat after trying every other possible remedy for my dog's car sickness. We soon realized that he wouldn't throw up if he was sitting on someone's lap. This seat is the perfect subsitute for a person; the foam absorbs the movement of the car and the seat allows my dog to see out of all of the windows. My 23lb black lab mix fits in the seat comfortably and even falls asleep now on road trips. Plus, with the harness that hooks into the seat belt, Digby is safe and doesn't move if I have to stop short. Excellent purchase!"

"Excellent! My family loves this car seat. I have a Yorkie so I ordered the smallest version. I belted it in the middle seat between my two daughters and it was a perfect fit. My Yorkie loves it because she can see out of all windows including the front one and can lay down if she feels like it. I love the idea that she is safe from falling or hurting herself if you have to make a sudden stop. Also, you have the security of your pal being clipped into the car seat so when you get out of the car they can't try to get out of the door to follow you until you are ready to clip them on their leash."

"I ordered this after reading all the positive reviews on this product. I have a 10-lb Chihuahua mix that is a rescue and has never really been in a car before. Plus, he's missing one of his back legs so it was impossible for him to stand up in the car to see out the window which was very frustrating! The Snoozer Lookout is a great solution because it's high enough that he can lie down in it and still see out the window. It seems pretty stable in the car, although it's almost too big to fit in my front seat because of the contoured seats."

"After buying one oversize Snoozer Lookout for traveling with our baby girl, decided to purchase another one to keep in the car. We do not use the car for traveling so I only needed the standard size. Abby has room to lay down in the standard one if she wants to, but the oversize gives her much more room to really stretch out. There is not much difference in the price of the two sizes, so if you are not sure, go with the oversize. Now with two, we don't have to keep moving the seat between vehicles. Nothing but the best for our girl Abby, and the Snoozer Lookouts are the BEST!"

"Our dog didn't like to ride in the car. After purchasing this seat, she's still reluctant to go in the car but she seems to tolerate it better. Now she will sit in the seat and look out the window. It is also big enough for her to lay down in.

"I bought the larger sized snoozer pet car seat because even though my mini-dachshund only weighs 11lbs., I figured her length would require the larger car seat for dogs 18-25lbs. The car seat is actually big enough to fit both her and our rat terrier at the same time, and they frequently like to ride in the same car seat together, even though we have two. The car seat is quite sturdy and the color is great (although it's more of a khaki than a green color - but that matches my car interior perfectly!). The dogs love the fleece lining and if I leave the seats in the house they will jump right in to sleep in them.
The included seatbelt attachement works okay, but I have had trouble with it because my dachshund likes to circle and make a "nest" before laying down, and usually this means she gets the seatbelt attachment completely wrapped around at least one of her legs.
The carrier for 18-25lb. dogs is a nice size for two small dogs (both around 10lbs.). The only problem I have with is is that it is quite large and if I want to put down the split folding seat in my station wagon, I have to leave up the larger portion of the seats as the car seat will not fit easily on the single seat.
Overall, this is a great product and well worth the money - the cheap $20 & $30 car carriers are not as good in quality as this. My dogs love this carrier!"

"What a Great Product! Before I got the Snoozer Car seat, my mini dachshund would only travel sitting on my lap. Now with the Snoozer belted in the back seat and my pup secured inside, he can see what's going on and be comfortable. Plus it's safer for him and for me. I highly recommend this product."
