"I have four kittens and two litter boxes. I bought this product to store litter in and it works great:) I can keep a lot more litter in my house without it being in my way. I now save money by buying big bags of Tidy cat litter and just dumping it in this storage box. It is amazing! So glad that I bought it and now I am planning on buying another one to store the big bags of food in."

"We actually bought this storage container to store our cat litter. It's great, we have it next to our cats litter box for convenience. The snap closure is secure so he can't get in it. The little scoop that attaches inside is also very convenient as it is handy for refilling the box."

"This is not air leak proof (I will post a review for the other -Better- one I bought) Overall it dos its job just don't put something really heavy on it. It will "crunch" the top a little. Still great for a tight space like I had at the condo."

"While this product isn't exactly "seal proof", I am really enjoying it. The fact that it holds 40 lbs of cat food, has a lift up top, a scoop that is easily accesible on the door, and is small and compact-makes it worth the $$.
I like it so much, I might purchase another one."

"This pet food container works well for the small space that I have to keep our new puppy's food stored in. The storage for the scoop is a bonus, no more searching for my one cup measuring scoop in the bottom tof the tote I was using. I may have to up-size to the larger one once the pup is full grown, as he will be about 85 lbs. (I am guessing that the largest bags of food will be more suitable), but for now it holds the 20 lb. bags just fine."

Flimsy container, not air tight

"PROS: great value, alternative to bag clips, save $$$ by purchasing food in bulk
CONS: flimsy, ugly color, not "air tight"
Purchased the biggest size of this container and was not pleased with how cheaply made the container itself is. if full, the container will bend if you carry it so it's best to leave in one set place. the lid is not very firm in place and is not "air tight" as advertised so keep it away from areas with alot of insects around. However, for its size this is still a great value. If you can find something that is genuinely "air tight" and are willing to pay a little extra money, then go for it because this container is only worth buying for its capacity not its durability."

"This container that we bought helped out a lot. It is nice that it has a lid to open and a scoop to scoop out the food. It was better than having this big bulky bag just sitting around and being in the way. You can store the container away and it isn't messy either. I had put a 13 gallon trash bag inside because of the plastic smell from the container. This helped with not letting the food start to smell like the plastic. I'm sure this will be handy to you too."

"this item was the perfect size, but the smell caused me to return it. it smelled awlful when i opened the box and i though if i put it outside on the porch for a few days that the smell would go away. it didn't. so i took it into the shower and tried to wash the smell away. that didnt work so it was returned."

"It holds a 50 lb bag of dog food if you pour it out of the bag. I like that the scoop stores on the inside of the lid. My only complaint is that the plastic has a funny odor that hasn't gone away even after 2 weeks."

"It's huge....holds up to 50lbs of dry food.........it's strong.........it's Rubbermaid, wouldn't buy anything else!! And it was on sale for $19 ($10 off the store price)....it's lightweight, takes up little room, and, best of all, keeps food safe from insects and other pests. Color is neutral and lid is strong but easy to open and refill."

"I am extremely pleased to have bought this!! I can place an entire 35 lb bag of dry food into this container and it keeps the food very fresh! I just cut the bag open on the top, place the bag inside the container, and then close the lid. It's amazing how fresh the food remains (due to the air-tight rubber seal) and it's easy to scoop out the food with the included scoop.
Highly recommend and worth the few extra bucks!!!!!!"

"I highly recommend this product to anyone who purchases pet food in bulk. I started out buying smaller bags of food and storing the bags in the refrigerator...but the small bags go quickly and you get more for your money when you buy the larger bags. "This is great it suits my needs. Container holds a 17lb bag of dry food without having to pour it out of the bag (I just put the bag in and opened it so there's no mess), it opens wide enough to get to the food easily and closes securely.
The only disappointment for me was the scoop - I have a small dog so she only eats a small portion and the scoop starts the measure levels at 1/2 cup...also the lines are hard to read.
Perhaps in the future they might consider doing measurements in 1/3 cups as well as 1/4 cups and make them easier to read. As for me..I just continued to use the dry measure cup I've always used and left it inside the bag."
