"This is a great way to store my puppy's food. It holds quite a bit of food, probably 25 - 30 pounds. The lid is easy to open and holds the food scoop inside. I am pleased with this product, it is very practical and I would definitely recommend."

"This container is just what I needed to store my dog's food. It keeps the food fresh and crunchy, and stores in the small space that I have to put it in. It is not real rugged, but for the price I paid, I was not expecting very heavy plastic. It is just right for what I needed, and I am very happy with this purchase."

"The Rubbermaid product is well-constructed for its purpose, and the lid is sealed with a weatherstrip gasket. My only concern is that the lid unit, which can be removed from the base, is not sealed with a weatherstrip and therefore does not provide a completely airtight seal with the base. I don't think this potential air leak will cause dog food to become stale, but I am not certain of it."

"We have been looking for a storage container for our dog food for a while. This was the cheapest one I could find that was big enough for the largest dog food bags. I like how the scoop fits inside the lid. It seals really well. I was a little dissapointed with the color, it wasn't the exact color as I thouhgt it would be. However, my husband loved the color. It is a very nice container and I would recommend it!"

"This container looked like a good idea at the time. However, I still wonder why the flip top has the rubber gasket and the lid itself is just snapped on? So much for keeping it pest free and fresh. And the SMELL! The plastic has a harsh aroma that will not go away. It is so bad, that the dog food has absorbed the odor and is now preventing my dog from eating. I WOULD NOT BUY THIS OR RECOMMEND THIS!"

"In my opinion, this garbage can looking container is only fit for the garbage. The lid does not stay attached; it can easily be knocked off by a wagging tail or a clumsy toddler. Not much effort is needed to remove the lid at all. I figured a Rubbermaid product would be decent. I was way off!
I don't feel confident that the lid will keep out any pests, especially ants. That is what I need most out of a pet food storage product.
I did have somewhat of a chance to test the product in the store, but I brought my dog along and he didn't allow for a thorough inspection. I don't blame him though. The scoop storage ability (i.e. on the lid) was a nice feature but the niceties ended there.
I would recommend this to someone I don't like and that is about it."

"This product has a pervasive vinyl smell which I can not remove. I removed the dry dog food from this container, and unless I can find a way to remove this smell, I will have to throw this food storage container away. This is a waste of money, and not up to PetCo's usual quality."

"Purchased this online and immediately returned it to the store. Bin is poorly made and very flimsy. How this thing is supposed to achieve any sort of air-tight seal is beyond me. Made from very thin plastic and prone to warping which makes the lid almost impossible to securely seat down onto the body. Purchased a Vittles Vault instead and find it a much better quality product."

"I bought 3 of these last summer to store bags of chicken feed. Living on the Gulf Coast, the humidity & cutter ants are a real problem. I needed a container with a tight sealing lid & large enough to hold 50 lb bags of feed. I couldn't be more pleased to report because chicken feed is such small granules, the containers hold in excess of that. They're durable, the lid makes a tight seal & the 2-cup scoop is perfect for my needs. I'm replacing 1 container because something tried (unsuccessfully) to knaw its way through a lid leaving teeth marks all around it."

"a really great product! I love the scoop that comes with it and conviently attaches to the lid of it. THe scoop is about 1 cup. Much better than looking at a crinkled bag all the time but still keeps my puppies food fresh!"

"I have four kittens and two litter boxes. I bought this product to store litter in and it works great:) I can keep a lot more litter in my house without it being in my way. I now save money by buying big bags of Tidy cat litter and just dumping it in this storage box. It is amazing! So glad that I bought it and now I am planning on buying another one to store the big bags of food in."

"We actually bought this storage container to store our cat litter. It's great, we have it next to our cats litter box for convenience. The snap closure is secure so he can't get in it. The little scoop that attaches inside is also very convenient as it is handy for refilling the box."

"This pet food container works well for the small space that I have to keep our new puppy's food stored in. The storage for the scoop is a bonus, no more searching for my one cup measuring scoop in the bottom tof the tote I was using. I may have to up-size to the larger one once the pup is full grown, as he will be about 85 lbs. (I am guessing that the largest bags of food will be more suitable), but for now it holds the 20 lb. bags just fine."
