I had a medium one for my tarantula, and she loved it. Almost every night, when she was out on her "prowls," she could be caught drinking out of it.
After she died, I used it to hold water in my anole cage, but as they are arboreal, they rarely used it. It then experienced a move to the cricket terrarium, where it was filled with dirt and used for the crickets to lay their eggs in. They got good use out of it.
Right now, there is a batch of cricket eggs getting ready to hatch, but I also have a small one that I may be using if I get another scorpion or tarantula.
Easy to clean, but beware the residue..."
