"I was dissapointed in this purchase. The bed is exactly as featured (it's beautifully made) but it's not the right fit for our Irish Wolfhound. The egg crate cushion inside the cover is not very giving, and you can feel each bump. I am keeping the bed because our dog has used it and will lay in when she has to, however, she doesn't stay in it for very long."

"I'm very happy about this bed. I've had it for a while now and my dog hasnt chewed it and it has survived about 3 washes. The material helps it to stay relatively clean which is a huge plus. Most beds attract hair while this one doesnt seem to. It works well for the reason I got it which was to put in my dogs kennel as some sort of cushion. She even uses the pillow part as an actual pillow which is adorable!!!"

"I bought one of these beds as an experiment to see if my English mastiff girls, 225 pounds and 246 pounds, would like it...and to see if it would be big enough for them. It's so hard to find a bed for dogs this large. They absolutely love this bed! It fits them adequately. It could be a little longer, but they curl up on it and it works out fabulously. Yes, they even use the pillow. I'm glad that I've found them a nice cozy bed for the coming winter. Needless to say, I've ordered another one."

Very Nice Bed!

"It's very difficult to find any stores that will stock large beds in the store so ordering online was required and that can be scary if you can't see and feel the product.
We got this a few days ago and so far we are very happy with it.
For reference, we have one dog that is 80 lbs and another that is 65 lbs. This bed is large enough for both our dogs to use at the same time (but they usually don't) it's soft but firm, which is exactly what I wanted.
My 80 lb dog is into his elderly years and the bed is for him and he's been using it and liking it. He's a large breed and very often likes to stretch out and this bed works.
The cover seems durable but I would have liked a color/design choice. This one is fine. It's plaid with dog paws on it. I think, given a choice, I'd have chosen a plain solid color.
We are using a dog blanket on top to help keep it clean."

"My German Shepherd loves this bed. He really loves the pillow he actually uses its like a human.
The only thing is be careful when you wash the outside cover it will shrink. I think the next one that I buy I will hand wash it and air dry it. But its still a good buy. After all its for a dog he doesn't care if it shrinks a little."

"The bed itself is OK but I took it to wash it today and it shrunk. I'm going to have to cut the foam cushion almost in half to get it back into the MUCH smaller cover. BUYER BEWARE !!!"

"I am under-whelmed by this product. The foam is not as thick as I had anticipated after reading the description. When I kneel on the bed, I go right through to the floor. We purchased this bed for our eight year old lab who is getting up a bit slower these days. I wouldn't recommend this product if you are looking for a good orthopedic bed. We've purchased better in the past."

"My dog has been sleeping on this for about a month now. I was skeptical at first about the size because we have a very large dog (100 lbs), but when he lays on it he can stretch out and theres still room to spare. He sleeps on it everynight and even uses the built in pillow. It really is adorable =)"

"I bought this in two sized, one large for my shepered's bed room as his night bed and one smaller one for our TV Room. Our TV room is very small and he loves to lay there and watch TV with us. Since he is getting older(he is about 9 years old), I thought a theraputic bed like this would be a good preventive thing to do for arthrities (though he doesn't seem to have it yet I know dogs suffer a lot from it). Is a small price tp pay for this theraputic bed as compared to even one Vet visit and your dog would be happy on it. I know mine is.
PS.I have bought another bed from PETCO website few years ago and is still in a good condition. I am donating that one since I feel the need to buy a theraputic dog as mine is geeting a little older and I want him to have a bed that accomodate with his joint."

"I have a Great Dane Pointer mix, 130 lbs. He just loves this bed, especially the pillow! The size is great, perhaps if it was a bit wider would have been nice, but overall very happy with it. The orthepidic foam is much nicer than the usual fiber fill beds that get out of shape to quick, I don't have to fluff it out in the morning. So far it has retained its shape."

"I have a 1 1/2 yr old, 70 lb, lab. He absolutely LOVES this bed!! I was a touch nervous about the pillow, thinking it may just be in the way. Not a chance! He snores away in la-la land for sure on this bed. :)
Both the pad & cover are thicker than most I've felt in this price range. All in all, it was a purchase that was completely worth it!"

"We have a 1 1/2 yr old yellow lab that loves this bed! He absolutely took posession of it. I work from home, and the dog will spend the majority of the day on this bed whereas before, he would just move around the house and find different spots throughout the day. When you have to move it to vacuum, he would stand on top of it because it was "His bed" and he didn't want it going anywhere. I thought having a pillow was silly, but he really takes advantage of it. Great product. Worth the price.
p.s. Be careful when you wash the outside cover as it may shrink a bit if you dry it completely (ours did)."

Good dog bed for extra large dogs

"We have a 130 lb Bloodhound that we purchased this bed for. He loves it and likes to use the pillow portion of it. Now we have my son's alpha dog 110 lb retriever mix and a Pug puppy - the two big dogs are able to share the dog bed (not completely - half on the floor/half on the bed) and the Pug sleeps on top of the hound - quite a site. We'll be buying another bed. The cover comes off easily for machine washing. It's a good bed. And the dog bed is big enough for an extra large sized dog to be comfortable."

"I love this bed because you can take the cover off and wash it and frebreeze the foam bedding. It does very good in the wash and I've washed it about twenty times. My dog really loves the dog pillow!!! The desighn is also very cute."
