"I bought this in stores Large - 18"L X 9"W for 39 dollars. I didn't have much of a choice since this is really the only one out their. My turtle is pretty big but not that big. The dock sinks under water and as soon as he gets on it will tip. Turtles usually won't go on unstable basking platforms(he tried) many times but always fell off. Im thining if you bought for a frog or smaller reptile it would be better but not for a turtle. I ended up just making one my self out of eight tiles and aqua safe silicone. Totally it cost 9.00 and works great."

"My RES & YBS love this dock. Every couple weeks I take it out and use a toothbrush to take off any algea growing due to the basking lamps. Great product and a must have for turtle owners who don't have the time to make a basking area out of scratch."

"My turtle loves his dock! He basks on it, climbs up it, sleeps on it, and jumps into the water off it. My only problem with it is the bottom suction cups don't stick to the glass anymore but it's fine because my turtle loves to wedge himself between the bars when he sleeps at night. An ideal product for water turtles!"

"One of the best and easiest to use products there is. The ease your turtles are able to get out of the water and stay dry is worth the price alone. I use it in ponds and tanks. It is a lot easier and safer than stacking rocks. Great product!"

"As a first-time turtle owner, I have done my research and stumbled upon this product. I immediately bought this and installed it into my tank and within 5 minutes, my turtles were all over it. They enjoy basking on it as well as swimming under it. For me, the dock stuck very well to the wall of the tank. Although it floats, it is not ridiculously wobbly. In addition, I love how the tip of the dock is in water. The turtles can get on the dock easily. I am very very please with this product!"

Not Great but Good Dock

"My turtles love this dock. One of them is starting to get too big for it, but the other is just right for the size I bought.
I want to build a basking area, with a place for my female turtle to leave her eyes, but until I can do that, this dock is great.
I feed my turtles on the dock and it is getting harder to keep it looking as good as new. My other complaint about this dock is that the suction cups were tough to get on the plastic, and they do not always stay stuck to the glass in my tank so it moves a bit more than I would like it too.
My turtles do not eat the dock, but they do love swimming underneath it.
When I get a bigger tank for my turtles, and/or as they get bigger, I will most likely be buying them another dock like this."

"I bought this product when i got my first red eared slider and it was perfect for her.I recently got a new red eared and when he tries to get on it sinks because, he is a lot heavier than my first turtle.I am getting a bigger tank and bigger dock soon.If the product breaks or sinks ,guys,it is because the turtle(s) is too big for the dock.My first turtle dosen't have problems getting on from either side tough it would be better if their were ramps on the other sides.I love this product thogh."

"I have 2 baby turtles and they love getting on this to sun bath, as I like to call it. It does not sink on them either. The only thing I would love for the company to do to this, is make is accesible all around and not just on one side of it. But mainly, I LOVE LOVE IT!!!"

"I've been looking for something like this for awhile, as I took over caring for two turtles last year, when a friend of mine could no longer care for them. I didn't know anyting about turtles, but have been doing a lot of research. It seemed like everything I looked as was really expensive, or involved a lot of work and expertise. These were great, they were reasonably priced and the variety of sizes are perfect. My turtles are SO much happier now!"

"Bought this size after having the medium size and thought our turtle was out growing it due to the fact that the medium dock was not keeping him out of the water all the way. WRONG. The new larger dock does the same thing."

"I bought this product for my 55 gallon fish tank. Overall, I like this product because it looks nice. The only thing that I dislike about this product is only one side of the dock is easily access by my turtles."

"had it in the tank with a red-eared slider, first of all, when the turtle would try to get on it it would tip, and the turtle would slide right off. when the turtle would manage to get onto it, the dock would sink, which kind of defeats the purpose. the suction cups don't keep it stuck to the side of the tank either, and it came off ALL the time. Lastly, the turtle ate a good portion of the floating part because its not very durable, but, thankfully, it did not harm the turtle--probably the only good thing about it."

"I purchased this product to provide a landing for for my 3" red eared slider. At first this product worked well, my turtle loved basking on it. However, after two weeks it was busted. This product is made of styrofoam It has two holes in which the mount bars run through it to mount to the side of the habitat. These split and there is no way to repair it. In addition, the suction cups did not stay attached to the side of the water habitat. Needless to say, this was a complete waste of money and I ended up returning it. Thank goodness I kept my receipt."

"i have had my turtle for a year but about 6 months ago i came home from school and noticed that Tad (the turtle) was on his back in the water! i thought he was dead until i picked him up and he started kicking so then and there i made a promise to go buy a Turtle Dock! that was one promise i am glad i kept because of the Turtle Dock i still have Tad! BUY THE TURTLE DOCK IT JUST MAY SAVE YOUR TURTLES LIFE!!!"

"I take care of an aquatic turtle, and I must say that her floating dock is her favorite thing in the world. She loves to lay on it with her legs kicked out and her head up, enjoying the warmth of the light. This is where you'll find her after every feeding. The suction cups come unstuck every now and again, but they usually stick right back on, and if they don't, suction cups are easily replaceable. I recommend this to anyone who has an aquatic turtle, or even a frog."
