"I bought 2 of these collars, one for a 40 lb Shepard/Chow mix and one for a Chiuhuaua (sp), and so far so good. Of course the first few times of getting used to it they both let out yipes (chihuaua over exagerates of course) but they both quickly learned what they mean. I only put it on them when they go out in the back yard and take them off when inside. If they aren't wearing them out then of course we all know what that means. BARK BARK BARK......AWOOOOOOL...BARK BARK,,,,and so on and so on. But as soon as I put them on........is that the sweet sound of silence I hear? Works great. Thank You"

"My girlfriend and I adopted an 8 yr old beagle about a month ago and she has developed a serious case of separation anxiety. Every time we left the house for any reason she would bark the whole time we were gone. Now we live in a basement apartment and our upstairs neighbors have been very understanding of the situation, but people can only take so much. So we picked up the innotek no-bark collar in hopes that it would work. Well what can I tell you...it works great...when we got home there was no barking at all!!! the collar works great!!!"

"I have two small dogs who constantly barked at each other, at shadows, at everything. When i went to take them outside, they barked all the way to the door, the whole time they were outside and for a few minutes after coming in. I was seriosly considering finding new homes for them since I suffer from migraines and the barking was causing so many painful headaches. After less than a day with the collars, they have totally quit barking. They also seem much happier today, and calmer too. Thanks to these collars, my dogs can keep their happy homes, and I can relax knowing that I don't have to worry about a headache every time I take them outside. I didn't expect such good results. These collars are amazing and a huge lifesaver for both me and my dogs!"

Amazing collar!

"One day is all it took for my 9 year old poodle to understand he could no longer bark when we left him alone. He's barked twice since I put it on him, since then he's quiet and seems happier. I was very worried about how his life would be effected by a bark collar, I worried that he would be afraid to jump and play. Thankfully he's not, he still plays with us, runs and jumps just like he always has. I'm very happy that my husband and I decided to go with this collar!"

Dog too smart for collar

"I thought my dog was fairly intelligenly challenged until I bought this collar. I have tried everything to stop his barking and finally decided to try this, even though I feel that these are a bit inhumane, I was, and am, desperate. The first time I put it on him he barked once, squealed, and stopped. The second time, I had the same amazing results. The third time, he barked twice, and got zapped twice. I was extatic! Then, he learned somehow that the collar resets between shocks, so if the post-zap squealing turned to incessant barking (not bark, bark, bark, but barararaaarrrrarararaaarrrkybarararkbaaarr..etc) he wouldn't get a second shock. Now the barking is worse all the time. Stupid collar."

"I was VERY skeptical about this product (and any sort of "shock" collar in general). I simply did not want to hurt my dog's in any way. Unfortunately, the neighbors were complaining and after seeing how "crazy" my larger dog was when one of the neighbors was walking up her backstairs on a day off, my roomate and I decided to buy it. Actually we bought two - when one of the dog barks, the other starts up as well.
What happened? We've had the quietest week EVER! The larger dog (Hound/Dane Mix) seems to be a bit more relaxed and less whiney. The smaller dog (a Jindo purebred) has had to get a bit more used to it, but he's learning, and doesn't make a loud fuss, eben when the collars off - BTW - we ONLY place these collars in my dog's when I'm at work or out of the house for long periods of time. When we get home, the collars come off even before we hug and say hi to them.
My only complaint is the collar is a bit cheap, but hey, it works."

"We couldn't be more satisfied! We have inherited for the near future our son's dogs. The barking of one was disturbing us and fearfully the neighbors. After putting on the collar--2 barks the first night, and that was pretty much it. She is a quick learner. She had a few whiney barks after that. Then she was silent. There were a couple of other attempts within the week, but never a full bark. When we took off the collar to charge the battery, she is smart enough to know where the zap came from. Again, she barked. When it went back on, no more barking. We have since taken the collar off to charge and haven't put it on for 4 days. No barking!!!!!! The battery actually hasn't shown a need to charge. This is wonderful product!!!!!!!!"

"I purchased the small breed Pet safe one first it would not stay in place and my maltese would bark at anything. We just moved into a condo and the activate is heavy, we live close to the pool. Our Petco was out of the Innotek BC-50B. I returned the Pet safe and went to another Petco and purchased the Innotek. After 4 barks he is calm and my neighbors are happy along with my teenagers. This is the best results in a short time. If you are looking for fast results take the time and buy this one."

"The collar seemed to work at first, but after about one week it did not work for my dog. She continued to bark over and over and over again with the collar on. I checked to make sure it was still operating and it was, but it seems my dog got used to the shock. She is medium sized, and the product indicated it would work for any size dog.

"We have two longhaired miniature dachshunds. One of them would scratch at the door to go out every 10 minutes. Most of the time she would just run to the back fence and bark at the neighbors dog. If we didn't let her out she'd have an accident in the house. She was driving me crazy! Now with the collar she only scratches at the door when she really needs to go out or even if she just wants to go out to play. No more barking. She learned in about 10 minutes not to bark with the collar. It has been a blessing to us and our neighbors.

"I finally had my dog outside for a full day with people around! I was unable to keep her in our yard before because she would bark non-stop at everything. The collar is very hard to watch at first but luckily, my Cockapoo Amaya learned quickly. She still tries to bark low to figure out what is shocking her but she doesnt go crazy barking at everything anymore. My family and I all agree that this was money well spent."

"Be careful with this collar if you've got more than one dog.
We purchased the collar for our 2yr old Bassett to control his barking at our neighbors and his constant barking when playing with our new 3 month old Bulldog puppy.
The collar stops the barking as advertised, but unfortunately, the Bassett has decided that the puppy is somehow responsible for the shock! He doesn't bark with the collar on, but the unwanted result is that while he's wearing the collar and for some time after removing the collar, he he runs away from the puppy.
We now only use the collar rarely for fear of creating a neurotic dog!"

Doesn't seem to work on my dog

"I have tried this collar on a number of my dogs as well as myself and cannot trigger any sort of stimulation. I've checked that it is on, but to no avail, nothing happens when the dog barks and barks and barks.
I'm disappointed and I would return it but we just threw away the original box it came in."

What a difference...

"We have a year and a half old yellow lab female. I read another review where the collar didn't work for the reviewer's lab, but in my case, what a difference. This dog of mine is my baby, but her incessant barking had turned into a nightmare. I'd let her out to do her business, barking. She would not stop until I literally had to go outside and corral her in with a treat. The neighbors, though being kind, I'm sure were getting very annoyed. And my husband and I were at our wits ends at night when with every single tiny noise outside, she'd bark for up to half an hour.
This collar has saved our sanity. I was getting to the point of just not 'liking' her anymore, though I still loved her. It's only been three days, and I hardly even put it on her anymore. She only needed one day of keeping it on and that was the end of the senseless barking. If she starts at the window, I jingle the collar (it has a buckle lock, not a snap, which is harder to get on her rather than a simple snap of a buckle), and she turns to look at it and stops. I honestly swear she is more relaxed and loveable. What an incredible change in our household! Please consider purchasing this collar, and even if it doesn't happen to work for you, Petco will take it back, no questions."

"I bought this for my dog, who unfortunately got used to the Citronella collar and was barking aggressively again. It worked right away -- he barked and got zapped. I did feel bad because he yelped, but he's now quiet. I only put it on him when we go for walks and I know we'll probably run into situations where he'll bark, I'm not sure I would put it on him for hours at a time or when I'm not around to monitor him. But it's definitely been a big help"

agression is gone. The collar was able to be consistant where I could not.
If someone came to the door unexpectedly I could not stop him from racing
to the door and being agressive. But the collar snapped him right out of
it each time. And he learned so quickly he didn't really get shocked( so
I didn't feel so bad). My dog actually seems happier and is not concerned
about the door any longer. If someone knocks he comes and gets me and follows me to the door. I wish I would have used this sooner and not frustrated
my self for 3 months. It is easy to use and didn't seem to harm my dog (

"We received this product within days that we ordered it online (great shipping!). We have a 2yr. old lab that yiped whenever my husband worked in the garage or yard, or when any of our family members sat at our dinner table or in the living room within his view. The very first morning we put it on him, he yiped, then wimpered when it worked-which was immediate (though hard for us to watch!!) After that morning, we had to put the collar on him one other time that day, and we have NOT had to use it since!!! IT WAS THE BEST MONEY we have spent on our dog so far!!! I would recommend this to any pet owner looking to cure a dog who barks too much. It may seem mean, but they learn very fast and are much better for it-and he recovered quick! We don't have to constantly admonish him for barking-Which is better for all of us! Thank you!"
