"My dog was adopted as a stray and needed to learn how to behave around people and other dogs. She would bark uncontrollably when another dog would walk by our home or if we were out on a walk and saw another dog. She would bark so forcefully that people would stare and think she was going to attack. A visit to the vet was really unpleasant! My dog would also bark at the cat in the middle of the night. The Innotek no-bark collar has been a lifesaver! It's not pretty-looking on the dog, however, after a few months of wearing it, she no longer needs it! I did feel sorry for her when the collar shocked my dog, but she learned not to bark so quickly that she was only shocked a total of maybe 5-10 times. My dog no longer barks like a crazed attack-dog when she sees other dogs. She no longer runs around late at night barking at anything. She is so quiet now that some of my neighbors had no idea I had a dog (I live in a condo). She only barks a couple of times when there is a knock at the door. I suggest using this collar to help your dog learn to control his/her own barking. You probably won't need to use it forever once your dog learns how to behave."

"I have 2 dogs and both like to bark ALOT!! One is a Boston Terrior and the other is Beagle. They bark non- stop when they are outside even when there is nothing to bark at and I decided to give this a try after I realized that they were not listening to me. After the 1st zap and they cried (I know that sounds mean) they got the hint. Maybe they would bark 2 times but I dont think they have even reached the 3rd level. They are starting to learn to ignore other dogs and just come inside the house. This product has worked very, very well. I recommend it"

"Works perfectly. My dog barked only once the first day it was on. He waited three days to try again then barked once more and never again. This is from a dog who has barked for hours, days, and months on end no matter how much he was scolded or removed from the situation. Would definitely recommend to buy."

"I bougth this for my mother's 11 month old Pekinese who barks constantly at anyone who visits her. She put it on him and within a couple of hours he managed to get hold of the end of the collar, chew it off and proceeded to chew up the transmitter box attached to the collar. Design flaw? I intend to return this product and get a refund."

"I bought two of these collars for our St Bernard and Australia Shepard mix. We live on 1/2 an acre and have an invisible fence so they can see all the neighbors and their dogs plus they like to sit on the front porch and watch everyone walk by. Not to mention the doorbell issue. They would start barking and I could not get them to stop. I was worried that they would confuse the shock of the bark collar with that of the fence, but this did not happen. Even the St Bernard (who in not the brightest) understood. Now I have to say that they have been trained on the fence for 2 years and I took their fence collars off during the first week. Now they will still do one or two barks but then they stop. Which is just fine with me.
The ad said it came with short and long prongs which I need for the Aussi but it did not. I called Innotek and they are shipping them at no charge to me."

"I only had to use this collar on my large dog three times. He now obeys the "quiet" command. The collar did not seem to cause him any stress, it simply stopped his annoying barking at anything that moved. I was worried that he would be afraid to bark when appropriate, (strangers in the yard) but he still lets me know when something is not right. I always used the "quiet" command when the collar was on and activated by his barking, so he would associate the command with the uncomfortable feeling of the collar. If used properly and with compassion, this is a great training tool."

"I have two puggles that would bark at everything. When one began the other would "chime" in and it was getting louder and worse over the past few months. Was embarrassed that I had the crazy barking dogs in the neighborhood. Just received these 3 days ago. Read the instructions and put them on my "babies" (they are 3 and 5 years old and are familiar with the beep shock method of these collars since we live on a lake and cannot fence in the property so installed electronic fencing, which by the way, really works too). Within minutes they received the correction and I told them "quiet" "boo boo" (boo boo is our way of telling them they can get hurt, silly maybe but they understand) and peace and quiet ensued.... This weekend, Labor Day, they were tempted by all of my neighbors parties and company, the ultimate test for my barking puggles, and they passed with flying colors. I had tthe most well behaved dogs on the lake; yes they barked occassionaly but would quiet right down once they received the correction (and most times just the warning). My younger one now is resorting to his howling (puggles will howl in addition to bark) when he was really stimulated by the activity, but this only happened once when a car alarm went off and his howling is nothing like a dog BARKING. Love this purchase, wish I did it months ago and would have had a more peaceful summer. Would definitely recommend this product, especiallly since Petco has a satisfaction guarantee or full refund policy. If you have a barking dog problem I thinik this might be your answer, it certainly was us."

"Im one of those people that doesnt like to spend alot of money on ANYTHING, let alone for my dog who has chewed up 4 collars before we found the right one. Well weve had complaints about our dog barking and it was getting to the point where we couldnt enjoy being outside with our lab because she wouldnt be quiet. She knew she wasnt suspose to be barking because she would briefly stop if you were standing by her. We finally broke down and bought this collar Thursday afternoon. She only barked 3 times that day, and felt the consequences. Friday once. Today (Saturday) we didnt even put it on her and she hasnt barked at all! My only concern was when she did get corrected she yelped horribly loud and that was suspose to be the first level. Obviously she learned so we will be telling everyone about this collar! Weve already started telling 4 people about it!"

"I must say I felt horrible, even buying this thing. However, my dog was barking at my neighbors when she was outside, and my landlord was getting upset. It was so horrible to hear her yelp, even though it was on the first level.
After only 2 times she learned that the collar meant a shock, so when I would put it on her when she was outside, she now longer barked. Then I stopped putting on the collar for a couple of days, so she started barking again. So, I put it on her for a little while longer while some times leaving it off.
Slowly, i used it less and less, and she only received 4 shocks total the whole time. She completely stopped barking at the neighbors and people passing by. It was so successful that I no longer use it. Yeah! It was well worth the price for me."

"My husband and I recently moved to a new house and our female dog was having a difficult adjustment process. She would bark a lot whenever we were gone and that irritated our new neighbors. We got some comments and even some notes on our door so we decided to purchase these collars. The collars worked perfectly even the first day we put them on our puppies. Since we have two dogs we decided to purchase two collars. We had not have any complain since then. Our dogs have been quiet. We only used the collars when we're gone, but we are now thinking on not using them anymore we might not need them. I felt bad the first time we put them on, but our puppies learned the first time so they rarely bark when they have them on. The only thing I didn't like is that the small collars are still big. We had to cut a big piece so that it will fit our chihuahuas. I wish they would made them smaller."

"I bought this collar for my 1-year old pyr. It worked for a few days and then she figured out if she only barked in 1 to 2 bark intervals, she could stand the zapping. The zap needs to be stronger. You can hear it go off and see her flinch a little, then stop just long enough so she doesn't get the next level of zapping and start barking again. It might work on a shorter-haired dog. I am still trying to use it, hoping she gets sick of being zapped, but now her winter coat is in and the latch keeps coming off, can't get a tight fit because of the cushion of all the fur. It needs a stronger latch. So here I am a lot of days early morning or at night out in the snow looking for this expensive collar that doesn't even work anyway. Wish I had tried something else at this point. $85 is a lot for me for something that only gave me a few days of reward."

"I have been using this colloar for about a week now and it works pretty good while its on. I didn't know when I bought it that you couldn't leave it on more than 12 hours. So when the collar comes off, the barking resumes. Fortunately, my little barker only barks when someone comes in or when I call her to go out to potty. ( & the whole time she's outside, when the neighbor shuts his car door, etc). I felt really bad to use this but the barking was driving me and my family insane. We would go through the same routine of telling her to be quiet a hundred times every time someone came or went and when she went outside. I also need to sleep in the day and once I get woke up by the barking, thats it I am up for the day. Also, my husband was totally against this because of the cost but he agrees now that it has been quieter around here. I don't know if the smaller collars can stay on longer, but would definitely be worth the extra expense in my opinion."

"I can't believe I fought buying this collar for 6 months. I thiught it might be "inhumane" to shock my dog. What ended up being worse was not wanting to be around our dog who barks for all of her communication. We crated her more than necessary because her barking was annoying. She wasn't an incessant barker; she just barked for all of her needs approximately 5-10 times each time. The collar had her quiet in one day! SHe was only shocked a few times and it was not traumatic. In addition, subduing her barking made her more calm and better behaved all the way around! We feel like we have a new dog! She can still bark once and sometime twice for her needs but it is a lower calmer bark and she stops after once. I am beyond thrilled at the product!"

"I have a small dog. She is great until you put her in her kennel. She doesn't like to be alone. So we bought this collar. She figure out that the more she barks the higher it goes. She also figured out that it will reset to the lowest level after 20 seconds. So she would wait.
She also figured out when the collar was on or not. She could tell by the weight of it. When the collar was off she would bark. So it didn't work for us. She even wore out the battery. Apparently it didn't make a big enough impact on her. So were in search of another collar. She drives the neighbors nuts."

"We were getting complaints from the neighbors about our dog barking in the backyard, so we picked up this collar about 4 hours ago and started using it. Usually, our little dog runs outside and starts barking at the dog behind our yard. After a few yips, and a shock or two he came and sat quietly at our feet. Seems to be working so far, but overall, I am very impressed with this training tool."
