"My dog was adopted as a stray and needed to learn how to behave around people and other dogs. She would bark uncontrollably when another dog would walk by our home or if we were out on a walk and saw another dog. She would bark so forcefully that people would stare and think she was going to attack. A visit to the vet was really unpleasant! My dog would also bark at the cat in the middle of the night. The Innotek no-bark collar has been a lifesaver! It's not pretty-looking on the dog, however, after a few months of wearing it, she no longer needs it! I did feel sorry for her when the collar shocked my dog, but she learned not to bark so quickly that she was only shocked a total of maybe 5-10 times. My dog no longer barks like a crazed attack-dog when she sees other dogs. She no longer runs around late at night barking at anything. She is so quiet now that some of my neighbors had no idea I had a dog (I live in a condo). She only barks a couple of times when there is a knock at the door. I suggest using this collar to help your dog learn to control his/her own barking. You probably won't need to use it forever once your dog learns how to behave."

"I have been using this colloar for about a week now and it works pretty good while its on. I didn't know when I bought it that you couldn't leave it on more than 12 hours. So when the collar comes off, the barking resumes. Fortunately, my little barker only barks when someone comes in or when I call her to go out to potty. ( & the whole time she's outside, when the neighbor shuts his car door, etc). I felt really bad to use this but the barking was driving me and my family insane. We would go through the same routine of telling her to be quiet a hundred times every time someone came or went and when she went outside. I also need to sleep in the day and once I get woke up by the barking, thats it I am up for the day. Also, my husband was totally against this because of the cost but he agrees now that it has been quieter around here. I don't know if the smaller collars can stay on longer, but would definitely be worth the extra expense in my opinion."

"I can't believe I fought buying this collar for 6 months. I thiught it might be "inhumane" to shock my dog. What ended up being worse was not wanting to be around our dog who barks for all of her communication. We crated her more than necessary because her barking was annoying. She wasn't an incessant barker; she just barked for all of her needs approximately 5-10 times each time. The collar had her quiet in one day! SHe was only shocked a few times and it was not traumatic. In addition, subduing her barking made her more calm and better behaved all the way around! We feel like we have a new dog! She can still bark once and sometime twice for her needs but it is a lower calmer bark and she stops after once. I am beyond thrilled at the product!"

"I have a small dog. She is great until you put her in her kennel. She doesn't like to be alone. So we bought this collar. She figure out that the more she barks the higher it goes. She also figured out that it will reset to the lowest level after 20 seconds. So she would wait. She also figured out when the collar was on or not. She could tell by the weight of it. When the collar was off she would bark. So it didn't work for us. She even wore out the battery. Apparently it didn't make a big enough impact on her. So were in search of another collar. She drives the neighbors nuts."

"We were getting complaints from the neighbors about our dog barking in the backyard, so we picked up this collar about 4 hours ago and started using it. Usually, our little dog runs outside and starts barking at the dog behind our yard. After a few yips, and a shock or two he came and sat quietly at our feet. Seems to be working so far, but overall, I am very impressed with this training tool."

"I did not feel this was worth the money. I have a 14 pound dog collar never adjusted to fit him either to tight or to loose. It worked 2 when he barked but never stopped him."

"My 5 month old English Cocker Spanish recently starting barking in her kennel at night, keeping me awake. I purchased this collar yesterday April 1, 2008. I placed it on her and after 3-4 barks the collar worked immediately. During the night she barked once, yelped once and was quiet the entire night. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COLLAR. IT TRULY WORKS GREAT. The battery was easy to install and the collar was on my puppy within minutes and ready to use. BUY THIS COLLAR!!!!"

"I bought 2 of these collars, one for a 40 lb Shepard/Chow mix and one for a Chiuhuaua (sp), and so far so good. Of course the first few times of getting used to it they both let out yipes (chihuaua over exagerates of course) but they both quickly learned what they mean. I only put it on them when they go out in the back yard and take them off when inside. If they aren't wearing them out then of course we all know what that means. BARK BARK BARK......AWOOOOOOL...BARK BARK,,,,and so on and so on. But as soon as I put them on........is that the sweet sound of silence I hear? Works great. Thank You"

"My girlfriend and I adopted an 8 yr old beagle about a month ago and she has developed a serious case of separation anxiety. Every time we left the house for any reason she would bark the whole time we were gone. Now we live in a basement apartment and our upstairs neighbors have been very understanding of the situation, but people can only take so much. So we picked up the innotek no-bark collar in hopes that it would work. Well what can I tell you...it works great...when we got home there was no barking at all!!! the collar works great!!!"

"I have two small dogs who constantly barked at each other, at shadows, at everything. When i went to take them outside, they barked all the way to the door, the whole time they were outside and for a few minutes after coming in. I was seriosly considering finding new homes for them since I suffer from migraines and the barking was causing so many painful headaches. After less than a day with the collars, they have totally quit barking. They also seem much happier today, and calmer too. Thanks to these collars, my dogs can keep their happy homes, and I can relax knowing that I don't have to worry about a headache every time I take them outside. I didn't expect such good results. These collars are amazing and a huge lifesaver for both me and my dogs!"

"One day is all it took for my 9 year old poodle to understand he could no longer bark when we left him alone. He's barked twice since I put it on him, since then he's quiet and seems happier. I was very worried about how his life would be effected by a bark collar, I worried that he would be afraid to jump and play. Dog too smart for collar

"I thought my dog was fairly intelligenly challenged until I bought this collar. I have tried everything to stop his barking and finally decided to try this, even though I feel that these are a bit inhumane, I was, and am, desperate. The first time I put it on him he barked once, squealed, and stopped. The second time, I had the same amazing results. The third time, he barked twice, and got zapped twice. I was extatic! Then, he learned somehow that the collar resets between shocks, so if the post-zap squealing turned to incessant barking (not bark, bark, bark, but barararaaarrrrarararaaarrrkybarararkbaaarr..etc) he wouldn't get a second shock. Now the barking is worse all the time. Stupid collar."

"I was VERY skeptical about this product (and any sort of "shock" collar in general). I simply did not want to hurt my dog's in any way. Unfortunately, the neighbors were complaining and after seeing how "crazy" my larger dog was when one of the neighbors was walking up her backstairs on a day off, my roomate and I decided to buy it. Actually we bought two - when one of the dog barks, the other starts up as well. What happened? We've had the quietest week EVER! The larger dog (Hound/Dane Mix) seems to be a bit more relaxed and less whiney. The smaller dog (a Jindo purebred) has had to get a bit more used to it, but he's learning, and doesn't make a loud fuss, eben when the collars off - BTW - we ONLY place these collars in my dog's when I'm at work or out of the house for long periods of time. When we get home, the collars come off even before we hug and say hi to them. My only complaint is the collar is a bit cheap, but hey, it works."

"We couldn't be more satisfied! We have inherited for the near future our son's dogs. The barking of one was disturbing us and fearfully the neighbors. After putting on the collar--2 barks the first night, and that was pretty much it. She is a quick learner. She had a few whiney barks after that. Then she was silent. There were a couple of other attempts within the week, but never a full bark. When we took off the collar to charge the battery, she is smart enough to know where the zap came from. Again, she barked. When it went back on, no more barking. We have since taken the collar off to charge and haven't put it on for 4 days. No barking!!!!!! The battery actually hasn't shown a need to charge. This is wonderful product!!!!!!!!"

"I purchased the small breed Pet safe one first it would not stay in place and my maltese would bark at anything. We just moved into a condo and the activate is heavy, we live close to the pool. Our Petco was out of the Innotek BC-50B. I returned the Pet safe and went to another Petco and purchased the Innotek. After 4 barks he is calm and my neighbors are happy along with my teenagers. This is the best results in a short time. If you are looking for fast results take the time and buy this one."

"The collar seemed to work at first, but after about one week it did not work for my dog. She continued to bark over and over and over again with the collar on. I checked to make sure it was still operating and it was, but it seems my dog got used to the shock. She is medium sized, and the product indicated it would work for any size dog. Do not recommend!"
