Looks nice, but NOT PRACTICAL

I am experienced house rabbit owner, so I know what is useful and what is not helpful in rabbit housing. This unit really looks nice, and has some good points, however it is not user-friendly for rabbit or owner. 1. NO front access, so it's hard to get rabbit out and he can be out of your reach. Rabbit can not go in/out on his own since there is no front entrance either. 2. The floor space is mostly narrow and not enough for a medium-sized rabbit (or larger) to spread out and relax, except in the litter pan. 3. No place for food/water dishes. If anything were to spill----that top-opening would make it VERY hard to be able to reach and clean up any messes in many areas of the condo. 4. POOR VENTILATION---rabbit could easily get over-heated in something like this, and odors (or ammonia) from litterbox are concentrated in rabbit's breathing air---NOT GOOD. There are no ventilated panels anywhere. 5. A new rabbit owner isn't going to realize how awkward this is until they start using it, but an experienced rabbit owner is going to have to make MANY modifications to make it better for the rabbit and for owner. Good concept, but needs much improvement.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

CNorland: Thank you for your comments. These observations are important to us and we'll take them into consideration if we redesign the item. It was designed with the help of an experienced pet expert from Germany. It is possible that the breeds and usage in that part of the world are a bit different than what is common in the US.

Needs a couple of features

My biggest problem with this cage/hutch is that it doesn't have a place to put food or water. I have a large rabbit that I only put in at night. If you would put in water it would spill all over. This cage only has a chicken like crate on top to hang things on but not practical. But it is a cool looking unit. I will make some modifications by drilling some holes so it accommodates a hanging water bottle. I would recommend for small animals.
