"My mother bought my son a hamster, a large syrian hamster, and of course this cage came with the hamster. The food, and bedding are great, no complaints there. The cage is sturdy and is easy to clean. It is small. Biscuit our hamster gets cabin fever if he is left in the cage all day. He will chew on the bars and climb trying to escape. The wheel is a bit noisey, we have had guests mention that they can hear the hamster running on his wheel through the bedroom walls at night. This cage might work for a smaller breed of hamster, but if you have a large breed a larger cage is better. I believe that if we didn't take him out of the cage everyday he would go crazy from that cage. It is tooooo small."
